マックス・ロメオ（英: Max Romeo、1944年11月22日 -）は、ジャマイカのレゲエ歌手。貧しいなかで生まれ、1965年にデビュー。1969年の夢精曲「ウェット・ドリーム」がヒット曲となった。1971年録音曲「レット・ザ・パワー・フォール・オン・アイ」は、マックス・ロメロ本人が政治と無関係に書いた曲だったが、キューバ政権に近い社会主義よりの人民国家党(PNP)の選挙キャンペーン曲として使われた。[1]1975年にはクライヴ・ハント（英語版）制作のアルバム「レヴェレーション・タイム」、それから翌1976年にリー・ペリーのブラック・アーク・スタジオで制作されたアルバム、「ウォー・イン・ア・バビロン」を発表した。1985年と1994年に来日している。[2]
