カオイダン（カオイダン難民キャンプ、Khao-I-Dang Holding Center）は、タイ王国、プラーチーンブリー県（現サケーオ県） 、アランヤプラテート郡北方20km に位置したカンボジア難民キャンプ。　タイ内務省と UNHCR により運営。 教育、医療はタイ政府及び国際支援機関によって供給。食料、水は毎日搬入[1] [2] 1980年時点で、37のボラティア団体が活動[3] [4][5]

年表

• 1979年10月19日、首相クリエンサック・チョマナン（Kriangsak Chomanan）はカンボジア難民の受け入れを宣言。[6][7]
• 1979年11月、タイ内務省はUNHCR マーク・マロック・ブラウン（Mark Malloch Brown ）による難民キャンプの建設を承認。[8]
• 1979年11月27日、赤十字国際委員会（ICRC）の病院運営開始。[9]　[1] [10] [11]
• 1979年12月31日、人口 84,800人[12]
• 1979年11月−1980年1月、毎日平均1,600名の難民が到着。[13]

• 1980年1月24日、タイ政府は受け入れを終了。[14]
• 1980年3月、人口 160,000人[15][16]

• 1980年8月6日、第4代国際連合事務総長クルト・ヴァルトハイムが訪問。[17]
• 1985年1月27日、第5代国際連合事務総長ハビエル・ペレス・デ・クエヤルが訪問[18]
• 1985年6月6日、アメリカ合衆国第39代大統領ジミー・カーターと妻ロザリン・カーターが訪問[19][20]

• 1986年12月、タイ政府は閉鎖を発表。
• 1989年12月、人口 11,600人[21]
• 1993年3月3日、閉鎖。 [22][23]
