L'Irish Cup è la coppa nazionale di calcio dell'Irlanda del Nord. Esiste dal 1880. È la coppa nazionale con più edizioni disputate. Rispetto alla FA Cup inglese (iniziata quasi dieci anni prima, nel 1871-72) non ha subito interruzioni durante le due guerre mondiali, il che le permette di avere un'edizione completata in più della coppa nazionale inglese.

Formato

Dopo quattro turni di selezione, tutti ad eliminazione diretta, 32 squadre, tra cui quelle di prima divisione, prendono parte ai vari turni sino alla finale, sempre in gara unica.
