Vicente Ignacio Luangco de Veyra (February 1, 1888 – March 10, 1975), who also used the pseudonyms Vatchoo and Honey Boy, was a Waray poet, writer, anthologist, orthographer and dentist.[ 1] [ 2]
Life
A nephew of the Commonwealth -era politician Jaime C. de Veyra , he was a member of the Sanghiran san Binisaya , an early 20th-century association dedicated to the promotion of Waray culture[ 3] [ 4] Waray literature .[ 5] [ 6] [ 7] Leyte , while as an orthographer he compiled orthographic rules for the Waray language.[ 8]
