District in Puno, Peru
Usicayos District is one of ten districts of the Carabaya Province in Peru.[1]
Geography
One of the highest elevations of the district is Ch'uspini at approximately 5,000 m (16,000 ft). Other mountains are listed below:[2]

Ethnic groups
The people in the district are mainly indigenous citizens of Quechua descent. Quechua is the language which the majority of the population (96.96%) learnt to speak in childhood, 2.84% of the residents started speaking using the Spanish language (2007 Peru Census).[3]
