The credit crunch in Banbury

Banbury’s historic Church Lane. The news agents were closed in late 2009. It was bought out and was reopened in mid-2010.

A picture of these closed Banbury shops in 2010. They all closed in 2009, except for Skills Centre, which closed in 2010. The closed shops are- 1/ Your Move estate agents, 2/ Bagel Bite café, 3/ Dolphin Bathrooms,4/ Mobën Kitchens, 5/ Chicken Hut café and 6/ Skills Centre recruiting agency.

The Ceramic Tile Company shop closed in 2004, and the shop building has not re-opened or been bought since.

Banbury Industrial Tramway

I'm creating the Tramway Industrial Estate's former Banbury Industrial Tramway's rout map. I still need to clarify a few dates, junctions and names then it will be done soon! It was partly biult here [[1]], hence the name. --Wipsenade (talk) 16:45, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

I'm creating the Grimsbury Estate's former Grimsbury (Banbury) brickworks and clay pit[[2]][[3]] Tramway's rout map.

Factory siding. (Closed in 1910 lifted in by 1922). Wilkins’ new brick pit (Opened by 1922, closed by 1947. Looading bay demolished and pit filled in by the early 1950s.) Bridges cosed in 1923, then demolished and the minor streams (or licks) also The lane that became The Causwaway. Factory siding's line (Opened by 1910, abandoned in 1923, formaly closed and lifted by 1938.) The works lane that joined up with today's Thorpe Way Today's St Leonard's school, Grimsbury, Banbury. (stll present as of 2011). Line opened by 1910. Line closed and lifted by 1922. Path biult over by 1965 Howard Road childrn's play park (Sill in situ as of 2011). Factory siding closed and lifted by 1910. Factory siding. (Open by 1910, clossed and lifted by 1922.) The lane that became Howard Road The bridge is demolished and the minor stream (or lick) culverted by 1922 The lane that became School View Path biult over by 1900 Factory siding. (Closed in 1923 lifted in the late 1960s). Factory siding. (Closed in 1923 and lifted in the late 1960s). New Clay pit's loading bay. (Opened in 1900, closed by 1923. Bay and enbankment demolished and the) pit filled in by 1965. Track closed in 1923 and lifted by 1965. Bridges cosed in 1923, then demolished and the minor streams (or licks) also put into culverts by 1923. Wilkins’ old brick pit (Clay pit opened in 1870, closed in 1923 and filled in by 1965) Grimsbury (Banbury) Brick works kiln and workshops (Opened by 1890, closed by 1955 demolished by 1964.) Grimsbury (Banbury) Brick works road depot (Opened by 1890, closed by 1955 and demolished by 1964.) Factory sideing (Open by 1910, clossed and lifted by 1922.)
