Z1720 (talk) 01:02, 27 December 2023 (UTC) January 2024Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:51, 9 January 2024 (UTC)

The fact was ... that Phomen Singh (pictured), an early Indian migrant to New Zealand, sold sweets and chutneys out of a suitcase? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Phomen Singh. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Phomen Singh), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. —Kusma (talk) 12:02, 5 February 2024 (UTC) I have sent you a note about a page you startedHello, Winnieswikiworld. I once worked with a couple of journalists from Auckland on a podcast about Wikipedia. I can put you in touch with them if you wish. --Lajmmoore (talk 08:08, 29 September 2024 (UTC) via MassMessaging Speedy deletion nomination of Chan Ah CheeHello Winnieswikiworld, I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Chan Ah Chee for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles. If you don't want Chan Ah Chee to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks! ArbCom 2024 Elections voter messageHello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page.
