M T of Austria
hii saw your message. It just baffles me that a worldwide encyclopedia uses incorrect names for example the french wiki uses of Austria ans eng wiki using of spain is just moronic. yes she was born in spain was a daughter of the king of spain her her paternal family were of austrian descent i do not understand how that is difficult to recognise. her gravestone says of austria and i think there is even a pic on her article to prove this so surely that alone is enough evidence alone she was merely an INFANTA OF SPAIN we dont call Prince Charles Prince C of England just as he was born there =/ it in my opinion is just incredibility stupid. the page should be moved to MT of Austria, Queen of F to avoid confusion with the Empress and narrow her person own and not mislead all who read the page. I just find it ridiculous to be honest =/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.243.39.243 (talk) 12:52, 18 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hello and thanks for your message. I reverted the changes you made to the Maria Theresa of Spain article while I was monitoring recent changes to the encyclopedia for problematic edits. The main reason for my reversion of changes is that it appeared to remove sourced and cited text replacing it with un-cited material. As I look more closely at the issue, I see that this has already been discussed at great length on the article talk page here, here and here. Wikipedia works by consensus among editors, and that consensus is reached through discussion on the talk pages. You are welcome to join that discussion; I would recommend that create an account for a number of reasons, but if you choose not to, that's OK too. I would suggest that whether or not you choose to register, you have a look at our policy on civility; telling other editors that there actions or opinions are "moronic", "ridiculous", or "incredibility stupid" doesn't go over well, and is a sure fire way to guarantee that your opinions, however well reasoned, are ignored. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions. -Wine Guy~Talk14:33, 18 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I personally have no opinion on the topic, the people who do—and with whom I've suggested you discuss the issue—can be found on the article talk page. I would encourage you to continue the discussion there, especially if you have verifiable, reliable sources to back up your opinions. -Wine Guy~Talk18:01, 18 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I added the 'I Fucked Ted' definition to the IRT page. While I can see how it might appear to you to be vandalism, this is indeed what IRT stands for in reference to the Breaking Bad episode. You can confirm this at the Breaking Bad wiki, but since I came to the IRT page specifically to find out what it meant, and the information wasn't there, I just thought I'd add it.
Thank you
... for correcting my accidental content deletion. I don't even know how that happened! I was simply attempting to add a wikilink. Thanks again! --Another Believer(Talk)22:28, 29 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You removed a line which has more info about the movie, A thriller based on VFX so people would like to know who did the vfx. I am new at wiki plz help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.23.80.203 (talk) 06:19, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your contribution. The VFX company you added is not listed in the sources for the article. It's something that could be mentioned in the context of a significant expansion of the article if it appears in a reliable source.. Please have a look at this page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. -Wine Guy~Talk13:26, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I see no evidence that the material copy/pasted from the website has been released under a free license. Is there an OTRS ticket for that text? It's kind of a moot point, even if there is an OTRS ticket the material needs to be re-written to be appropriate for the encyclopedia, preferably by someone who doesn't have a conflict of interest. –Wine Guy~Talk18:21, 2 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Here is the ticket, which states that he wants to create the article since he is the owner, and he wanted to know how. Regardless, I was interpreting that as if they worked for the company, they have a right to reuse the text as they want, but you're probably right in the release part though. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 18:44, 2 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
He very likely does have the authority to release their copyrights (although I notice there is a board of directors which he may have to consult). WP:DONATEIMAGE has information that may be helpful to him. While the text from the website would probably need to be rewritten for our purposes, he may wish to upload an image. If it's one from the website it will need to go through the OTRS permissions queue even if he took the photo himself. –Wine Guy~Talk19:37, 2 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Battleplan
The TV series is being shown here in Australia at this moment.
on Saturdays and Sunday mornings in a 2 hour double episode block at 0600-0800 local time
The episode was shown here on channel 73 7MATE some 2.5 hours ago.
The Title on the program was as i said "Battlefleet ACTION". I added one word action. A that is exactly what it said
If you would like to come and visit me in Australia I would be more than happy to have you stay and show you the title of the program.
As I have it saved on my HDD
Hi, and thanks for the offer—I would dearly love to visit Australia, albeit perhaps not in winter! I don't doubt you for a second regarding the episode title, however what you have described is what we call original research. We need information to have a secondary source which can be verified. The source for the article differs from your observation, but I would invite you to find a reliable source for that and other information in the article. I've left a note on your talk page with links to help you find your way around WP. Cheers. –Wine Guy~Talk20:18, 4 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Beta testing igloo.
Hey,
I noticed that you were interested in beta testing igloo. Well, it's currently in alpha but after I finish what I'm currently working on (adding more info to diffs, like the user who edited it, the time of the edit, and the summary) I'll move it into beta and I'll bring the code here to wikipedia and let you test it. Here's what I've done so far:
Basic rollback and warn/report functionality
Diff loading and rc ticker
History module
Archives module for going through the diffs that you've previously viewed
Status log, to show you a list of your previous actions
The toolbar links that link to the launch page and the igloo overview page
A rewrite of the code base to make it function without a server and work better
Please reply if you're still interested in beta testing.
Hey Kp: I'm absolutely looking forward to using igloo again, and am particularly interested working with it now that it doesn't need the external server. I recall that seemed to be the biggest drawback of Ale's original version. But even with the server issues, I thought it was the best tool available for us mac users. Let me know when the beta is available, I'll be happy to put it through it's paces. Thanks for your work in getting igloo up and running again. –Wine Guy~Talk18:24, 5 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent news, I'll take it out for a spin shortly. What's the current status of the filters? I'll probably figure that out for myself shortly, but let me know if there's anything I should know that's not on the help page. Thanks again for your work on this. –Wine Guy~Talk12:40, 7 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Not launching
I've tried running igloo on Firefox (v.22.0 and 23.0) and Chrome (v.28.0.1500.95); I get to the "igloo is loading" page, Usergroup OK, Read API OK, Write API OK, Loading complete! igloo will launch in a few seconds... and then nothing. Any ideas? –Wine Guy~Talk17:41, 7 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Just got it running a few minutes ago, unfortunately I don't have time right now to spend working with it. One thing I did notice was that it didn't put a line break after the section header when warning here. I'll have time to do more tomorrow. Cheers. –Wine Guy~Talk23:14, 7 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I just saw this. Yeah there was a problem launching a while back as I was implementing a change that would make it easier for me to develop igloo. Filters will be coming soon and trust me- they'll be better. I'm currently working on custom reverts which should come within a couple of days. Best, --Kangaroopowah19:33, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Alvino Rey page
Hi,
I took a look at the page on the web the info about Alvino inventing an elect gtr at age 15 and using an elect gtr while playing with Spitalney. Unfortunately like much on the net it is wrong. This mis-info. came from an over zealous president of the Alvino Fan club back in the day. I have a copy of that letter. I was Alvino's guitar tech for the last 20 years of his life. We had many conversations about the past and the instruments he used, many of which he still owned. He chuckled about the letter, said it was nonsense. Truth is he was very interested in electronics and did put together an elect banjo which he played with Spitalney, he did not play elect gtr with his group.
Please look at the offical facebook page [1] for the aircraft information. TransAsia Airways website is temporary shut down. However facebook cannot be used as wiki references.--Dragoon17cc (talk) 16:10, 23 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Yes you are correct, Facebook is not an acceptable reference. The cited reference with the aircraft information is reliable and should remain unless a more authoritative reference is found.–Wine Guy~Talk16:13, 23 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:14, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
