Unfortunately, I have to prepare for moving to college. Also, my girlfriend has requested that I spend a lot less time on Wikipedia.
For these reasons I may not be able to return to this wonderful project. I may stop in every month or so, but otherwise goodbye fellow wikipedians. WikiZorrosign
Um, I don't want the user box unfortunately. I'm trying not to have an overload of userboxes. And yes, non-admins can !vote in RfAs. I actually participate in my spare time. Just don't treat RfA as a joke by saying some random nonsense while !voting. --RyRy5 (talk♠copy-edit) 23:54, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
RE: LAAFan's page
I mentioned, in the MfD, the fact that this boosts "User talk space" edits. That doesn't exactly get the user off to a good start in the community. If this could be more WikiSpace or mainspace friendly, somehow, that would be great. I can't think of anymore specifics as of yet, though. I am going to state my opinion in the edit after this, on the MfD. Good luck! Basketball110My story/Tell me yours01:21, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, a user keeps pressing on Wikifying the userbox. They added a link, but I don't know anything about Wikipedia Userboxes. Could you help me with that?--LAAFan14:44, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Userfy
No, I mean move it to a subpage of the LAA Fan's WWS subpage, and CSD the remnants in template space (per WP:UBM). let me know if you need further clarification. best, xenocidic ( talk ¿ review ) 20:06, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Nah, I can archive it myself. I found out how to do it recently. As for Larry Jennings, that was nice of RyRy to notice my work.
--LAAFan23:50, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
P.S.- I think the hopes for WWS looks good. If you go to the page, I posted a tally, and we're currently winning 7-4![reply]
I looked at the barnstars list, and a think the Original Barnstar would work best. Thanks for your kindness!--LAAFan 23:56, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
Ok. (on the links on my talk page)--LAAFan23:57, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Erm, LAA. It is encouraged to always use edit summaries. All experienced editors use edit summaries, as well as me. WikiZorro, do you mind reminding LAA of this sometimes? It is really important to do so. I currently have a 100% edit summary useage my past 8000 edits. --RyRy5 (talk♠copy-edit) 00:04, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Userpages
I have added a space to the box on your user and user talk pages, I hope you don't mind. Those bits at the top of your page I guess will look diffrent for diffrent people. At the moment the one which says Wikipedia does not realy look right, but I like the idea of the drop down box. I have also put the vandalism inforation in the middle of that coloum, I think it looks better there. I'm impressed that you have fully customised it and changed it since I put it in :) 17:07, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
Hi there; you have marked this editor as a possible sockpuppet. I am not saying that you are wrong, but I am not clear as to your reason for making the suggestion. Could you please explain your reasoning? --Anthony.bradbury"talk"11:57, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I had no intention of criticising, and the user may well be a vandal; I just could not quite follow the reasoning. He appears not to have objected to the nomination, incidentally. --Anthony.bradbury"talk"16:20, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Do you know how to make a certified wikiproject? (Wikipedia: Wikiproject). I have an idea for a Wikiproject, but I don't know how to make the page under Wikipedia. --LAAFan 20:17, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
I'm planning for WikiProject Chicago Cubs.--LAAFan23:53, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Woo. I would just like to say thanks as you are the first person that I have seen that has added their name to the right list! Thanks loads ·Add§hore·Talk/Cont14:46, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
WikiProject
Whoa! I really like the design! It really puts makes us look a lot more professional than other branches. Thanks for all the help!--LAAFan15:48, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the project invite. I'm not able to devote much time to wikipedia just now. I have added Cubs info in the past, and will see what I can do in the future, when I have more time. Baseball BugsWhat's up, Doc?22:41, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Cubs Barnstar
I asked what Killervogel's barnstar's problem is, and he told me he is new to making barnstars. Can you help? Keep the Cubstar, as RyRy5 voted for it, but change the code for it. This a problem, as the barnstar is on the project page. As I have on my user page, I will be less active for a couple of days to look at templates and Wikipedia policies, but I will still be checking in and reading messages. Please let me know if you can help.--LAAFan02:28, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't looked into templates yet, but I'll be sure to get your attention if I can't figure something out. As for the Cubs barnstar, I find it better than the original. However, I would contact RyRy, too. --LAAFan23:18, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There's a current change to an article that I feel should have the discussion of the whole Wkiproject. It's the article above, the old version is this and the new version is the current version. I think some discussion on which version would be best would be wise in this situation. Feel free to discuss this on the article talk page. Thanks, SteveBot(owner)21:20, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Orphaned non-free media (Image:User-Example.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:User-Example.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:15, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure if you'll ever read this, but I am sending this message as a final goodbye. I should also tell you I shall find a new adoptor. I hope you come back to Wikipedia someday. You will be deeply missed.--LAAFan20:39, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Discussion is currently taking place as to how the project will use images, the quantity of images in our articles, and whether we are currently overusing images. Your input is requested on this page. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks. Steve Crossin(contact)12:41, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
They were spamming pages and deleting information on multiple pages. I reverted their edits because of the automated spam of numbers which removed information. They were recently blocked because of this. I hope you understand Ryryrules100TC00:23, 20 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
