Gerald Everett

Thanks for fixing that. Dude has a weird obsession with Everett for years and it got tiring with the constant changing of names over and over. They also keep adding "Geanni" and I have no idea where that comes from. Yankees10 19:54, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Yankees10: It looks like it could be Everett himself editing the page. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 19:56, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm...who knows. You would think they would get their name right the first time and not keep changing it lol.-- Yankees10 19:59, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Yankees10: Yeah who knows. I just saw where they said "stop editing my profile". It might be someone else though. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 20:02, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Top Ten Medical Editor Barnstar 2024

Top 10
Top 10 Medical Editor Barnstar 2024
You were one of the top medical editors on English in 2024.
Thank you for your hard work! —Mvolz (talk) 15:50, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm one of the top ten with only 2,992 edits? That seems low. Although Doc James' last 500 edits only go back to June so I guess it is right. I suppose these 2,992 edits are from when I created the physician articles from the DNB. I'll take it! Thanks! ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 18:20, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks BTW. I'm afraid I can't help with that though, lol. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 22:10, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Lol. But you can help by sticking around. Thanks for all that you say and do! John. Bringingthewood (talk) 22:20, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not going anywhere. Thanks! ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 22:34, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Any chance you can check Green Bay Packers all-time roster and see if I missed anyone from 2024. See if the numbers match up? I think I have 1,853, while PFR has 1,856. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 20:57, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I'll check them all in a month or two once the playoffs are over. I might take a look sooner at the Packer list though. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 21:34, 14 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Interested in participating in an interview study regarding LLMs?

Dear @WikiOriginal-9,

It is our pleasure to invite you to join a study at the University of Minnesota! The objective of the study is to understand how large language models (LLMs) impact the collaborative knowledge production process, by investigating knowledge contributors’ interactions with LLMs in practice.

If you have used LLMs (e.g., GPT, Llama, Claude...) in the process of contributing to Wikipedia (eg. grammar check, finding resources, writing scripts...), we’d love to join the study! You will be engaging in a 45-60 min interview, talking and reflecting about your experience with Wikipedia and your perception/usage of LLMs in Wikipedia. Your valuable input will not only help us understand practical ways to incorporate LLMs into the knowledge production process, but also help us generate guardrails about these practices. All participation would be anonymous.

In addition, if you know any editor who may have used LLMs during their edits, we highly appreciate it if you could share their contact with us, as we can reach out to them.

To learn more, please feel free to start a chat with me in email or take a look at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:How_LLMs_impact_knowledge_production_processes or direcly sign up: https://umn.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bqIjhNRg9Zqsuvs

Thank you so much for your time and consideration!

All the best, LLMs and knowledge production Research Team Phoebezz22 (talk) 23:48, 15 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
