Alright, the problem here (as I'm sure you can tell) is the capitalization. It is important to recognize that "MovieMistakes" and "Moviemistakes" are two completely differnt articles because of the capitalization. Since "Moviemistakes" is something of a unique word, you can create redirects for it. I suggest you do this following process at three pages, "Moviemistake," "MovieMistake," and "Moviemistakes," but no more than just those: It's very simple to create a redirect. All you do is enter this onto a new page: #REDIRECT [[MovieMistakes]] And that's it! JHMM13 (T | C) 14:22, 25 January 2006 (UTC) Hey, thanks for the email. For future reference, can you please contact me by writing on my talk page? I only like receiving emails about Wikipedia if it's something urgent. I've got a lot of work to do, and I set aside certain amounts of time for Wikipedia, so I'm not too happy when it gets interrupted :-D. In order to translate the article for POA, create a test page where you can work on it until you've got it translated properly (i.e. type in /Currentproject at the end of the url for your user page to create a "subpage" that you can work on), then you can go to the POA (movie) page on EN, check out the left column and look for Espanol where you can go and translate it. JHMM13 (T | C) 18:57, 2 March 2006 (UTC) H-PotHey, sorry about the delay in response. I just got on spring break and I was snowboarding all of yesterday. Nice job on the POA article! I don't know anything about Spanish translation, but it looks like you're blazing a new trail in terms of Spanish Harry Potter film articles. Before you translate the entire, thing you may want to check into the formats of different Wikipedias. For instance, there doesn't appear to be a Harry Potter portal on the Es-Wiki (at least none that I can easily find out), so you may want to take that top bit off the page. It's also important to note that the Spanish version of the films may have had different details than the English version (although this is probably incidental). Check around the Community Portal for both En-Wiki and Es-Wiki to get some help, but in the mean time, you can post it to the Spanish Wikipedia under the equivalent name in Spanish. Then you can link to it from the En version by following the format at the bottom of the page for other WP languages. If you have any questions, ask the Spanish translators first, then come to me if you're having trouble. I'm really not a translation expert. An automated process has found and will an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that is in your userspace. The image (Image:Luigismw.PNG) was found at the following location: User:Wanna Know My Name? Later/Differences between Super Mario World and Super Mario Advance 2. This image or media will be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. This does not necessarily mean that the image is being deleted, or that the image is being removed from other pages. It is only being removed from the page mentioned above. All mainspace instances of this image will not be affected Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. Furthermore, your writing style in English employs heavy Spanish syntax. It does not look normal, and instead of arrogantly reverting legitimate language edits by native English speakers you should be open to the edits people contribute. Your reversions make this article look very poor and non-encyclopedic, and I would venture to say even juvenile. Please allow others to edit or this will result in the page being flagged. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.21.86.225 (talk) 04:20, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Google Chrome 4.0.249.78 NTP.PNGThank you for uploading File:Google Chrome 4.0.249.78 NTP.PNG. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale. If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. FASTILYsock(TALK) 03:39, 26 January 2010 (UTC) Re:Copyrighted elements?Hello, Wanna Know My Name? Later. Skier Dude2 (talk) 06:22, 28 February 2011 (UTC) Speedy deletion nomination of Songr
A tag has been placed on Songr, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding License tagging for File:ManoloCabezaHuevo.jpgThanks for uploading File:ManoloCabezaHuevo.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:05, 21 November 2011 (UTC) Non-free rationale for File:ManoloCabezaHuevo.jpgThanks for uploading or contributing to File:ManoloCabezaHuevo.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale. If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. No WP:3RR or WP:EW violations, which isn’t something you can say about a number of people on the other side of this dispute. And I know you seem to be flat out incapable of comprehending this, but I have no bias against the Beatles. I don’t think about them much at all. They’re just one of many entries on an article list I’ve passively maintained for the last few years. My stance on inclusion is as simple as “Is there a source for the claim? Yes? Okay, I don’t oppose exclusion. Feel free to rehash your lecture about how critically acclaimed it is, like you haven’t just done it ten times, but my stance is as simple as this - does a source support it - not this bias nonsense. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
