Invisible Class Empire page editing
Hello... A partner and I are collaborating to make Wiki-pages for the book, The New Class Society: Goodbye American Dream? and also the term, invisible class empire as it relates to different sociological concepts... We should be finished with our edits soon; it is my first time using this format and edits have to be approved by my partner before I add them... I appreciate any advice you could give us. Sincerely - — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bsmith2012 (talk • contribs) 06:34, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
On Your Context deletion proposalAs a response to your message on my page (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:ABXDataLogic), I'd like to state that the main reason why this page was created lays on the motivation explained in the History section. In other words, unlike digg.com or other social bookmarking websites, Your Context is solely focused to promoting personal bloggers who would otherwise get lost in the cloud of a plethora of online content... If this reason for having such an entry is insufficient, then I wouldn't necessarily contest your deletion proposal. A B X T • ៛
I started working on that page because the content in English is nowhere close to the one in the Spanish Wikipedia. I think it deserves a spot since is part of the longest occupation in human history (PR has been a colony for more than 500 years/Spain-US). I started working on it, but still a work in progress since I only had a couple minutes and had to leave my computer. The context is not suppose to be focused on that, part of the idea is that not only one person contributes to it but rather different people so it may be more balanced. It is also closely linked to many other pages that deal with the issue, but not exactly about the history of the occupation. I have planned when I get back to add the quotes and material from books, but I am studying abroad in China so I don't have access to that material for the moment. I believe it would be useful to have this article now with controversies as Palestine and the latest referendum pretty fresh on people's mind. -Nosferican — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nosferican (talk • contribs) 11:37, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: Luca PinelliHello Travelbird. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Luca Pinelli, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: translated from it.wiki so not a copyvio. Thank you. SmartSE (talk) 15:53, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
Deletion of the article AgatikDear Travelbird, I am trying to create a new article called 'Jayashree Kulkarni'. This is about a very famour Indian author. My article is pending acceptance and the reviewer has asked me to make it referenceable. Therefore, I am trying to add links and low resolution book covers to the 18 books published by this author. These books are popular in India. The book titled 'Agatik' is just 1 out of 18 books. I then plan to add other references too. The author and her works are well known. She has received many awards including the first woman detective story fiction writer in the Marathi language. Please can you accept, so i can complete my work of referencing other books and make the article verifiable and referenceable. Many thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sachinkul (talk • contribs) 16:00, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
Dear Travelbird, I went through the criteria for Notability. I believe only 1 of the 5 criteria mentioned applies to this book. i.e. 1.The book has been the subject[1] of multiple, non-trivial[2] published works whose sources are independent of the book itself.[3] This includes published works in all forms, such as newspaper articles, other books, television documentaries and reviews... - The book Agatik contains 10 stories. All these stories have been previously published by various publishers in leading Marathi language magazines. I will now make a list of each of these 10 stories, when and where they were published, page number of each magazine, and date of publication. If i submit this data, will this article be accepted please? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sachinkul (talk • contribs) 20:40, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
Dear Travelbird, OK, in that case I agree to deleting this article. I will just insert a reference to this book from the main article as with many other books, so the main article gets accepted as referenceable. Many thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sachinkul (talk • contribs) 12:47, 2 December 2012 (UTC) Deletion of "Lesley Ann Patten" entryI accidentally saved my work in progress. About the Deletion of Theodoros Kasapis PageHello, I am new to Wikipedia and had no idea that I could not use the exact text from another source. I should have read the instructions more carefully. I cited the whole thing though and put it in quotation marks. I have changed the text and written it in my own words so please go back and review it because I really need this. Please let me know if there is anything else you want me to change. I am looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible. matteusvii — Preceding unsigned comment added by Matteusvii (talk • contribs) 21:09, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
Hello again, I went back and changed it completely. It is a much shorter version but still it contains the basic information. Could you please check it again and let me know. Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Matteusvii (talk • contribs) 21:47, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
Thank you Travelbird, The thing is that the only online information I can find on Kasapis is one more article in Greek. I am going to make it better but unfortunately the only reliable sources on this subject come from books. I also have original photos of Theodoros Kasapis. Could you assist me in uploading these photos. I have a lot of material but unfortunately I can't use it here. That is why I went for the only english source I could find Thanks again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Matteusvii (talk • contribs) 13:38, 2 December 2012 (UTC)

Can you explain what you are up to? First you nominate the above for speedy deletion (notifying me), then you delete your CSD tag with the edit summary saying you are holding off on the nomination "for now" (without notifying me). The nomination made no sense, and the implication that you may come back again with the nomination makes less. As specifically mentioned in the title, it is a sandbox for the main article. The human beings in the Senate at this moment are not all going to be in the Senate after January 3. Likewise, 12 humans will join the Senate. The changes necessitate a great deal of changes to the code and content of the table (including numbering and who holds what leadership position). I have had this in my user space for years, but it was recently decided that it should really be a subpage of the article, so I moved it. So your deletion nomination was against both logic and consensus at the main article's talk page. An honest mistake is an honest mistake, but what in the world prompted "for now"? -Rrius (talk) 02:11, 3 December 2012 (UTC)

The AmericaTowne informaton should not be deleted because the page is factual. AmericaTowne® is a trademark registered with the United States Office of Patents and Trademarks. This is a fact. The article does not promote but simply describe what AmericaTowne® is, what, where, and why it exist. There is no promotion going on simply factual. If there is an objection concerning the link in the article - the link can be removed. However, the link is directly to the USA Patent Office that proves and verifies the content of the article. Strongly suggest the article remain as is in its factual and non promotional state. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Blac80 (talk • contribs) 17:15, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

I have no direct connection to the particular company and organization. Second, this article is about describing the company, not for promotion or anything else. You should carefully read the article to understand that I DID NOT WRITE THIS FOR A COMPANY or for any promotional purposes. You included the link of http://www.mrisarasota.com/refresh/templates/about.php?id=6 as your proof that I copied everything from them. However I took my time to read all over their webpage but NO EXACTLY SAME LINES WERE FOUND. I don't see any exactly same line between the website and article I wrote on wikipedia. If you are saying that little tiny part of "more than 900 offices in over 35 countries" are overlapping, too sorry for you that you couldnt find anything specific to tell me which part I copied off. please DON'T ASSUME THINGS. I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU
Text from the Wikipedia article (which I wrote): "In 1965 MRI Network (Former name; MRI Worldwide) Management Recruiters International, Inc. is founded in response to a growing but largely unmet demand in the business world" From the website: "MRINetwork was founded in 1965 as Management Recruiters International (MRI), in response to a growing but largely unmet need in the business world" you are saying that this is the perfect evidence that I copied every article of mine from them to write in wikipedia, I have nothing to respond to you arugment anymore. First you made miserable assumption based on no proof just because I'm writing an article on a company or organization, doesnt mean I work for them nor belong to them. Second, for your proof of me copying everything from the website you included, you do not qualify with any significant nor particular proof to demand that I copied writing from them. Third, I was legally right to tell you that DONT ASSUME ANYTHING to you, however you emotionally took my word and said "Sorry - but without very good proof I won't accept your word that the company stole your work and put it on their won website." which you initiated PERSONALLY ATTACK ON EDITOR.
