If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. I'm not sure why you think that it looks better that way, though I think many people recognise the characters by their surname as well as forename. If it was cumsuming excess space then maybe it would be better suited, but I don't believe that it is.
