I think I see where the confusion came in for this article. The article was moved to the current page in 2011, with the "original" version deleted in 2008. THat original version however was for a completely different band, and has no connection to this article. I removed the tags on the page for that reason. You have made your WP:POINT. Now please don't WP:DISRUPT anymore. Please be more judicious with your deletion requests Train, as your behaviour is verging on WP:DISRUPT. Your recent behaviour towards Smooth Island (Tasmania) this includes 1) removing image links from an article for a issue relating to style guidelines (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Smooth_Island_%28Tasmania%29&type=revision&diff=783389251&oldid=783305926), just to subsequently tag all of these these images for deletion because they became orphaned (due to your previous actions) (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=File%3AExaminer_p4_23-1-15.pdf&type=revision&diff=783389321&oldid=783305585). Re:Messages left at my talk pageHi Train2104. I hope you are well. I had left a message on one of the talk pages of the files that I uploaded, which have now been deleted without any further warning. This seems counter to what was suggested on my talk page and the speedy delete template, which is that I could contest the licensing issue (and get a response, I assumed). The file talk page is now gone too, and I cannot see if anyone replied there. On the talk page I had explained quite clearly why the files were appropriately licensed. I don't want to upload the same pictures with the same licensing and be left with them deleted again and myself blocked from editing. Please could you advise me on what to do. The files I uploaded were licensed and attributed in exactly the way the file upload wizard suggested to do, and also according to what my colleagues (the original authors of the pictures) wished, whom I talked with about this in person. The Speyer Legacy SchoolThank you for the help in editing (your initial edits were very instructive). We are trying to clean up a dormant page with more accurate information about the school (the previous iteration contained a lot of information about other unaffiliated institutions and a lot of other irrelevant text). Your advisement on encyclopedic writing is taken to heart and we're referring to other school pages to help clean up the style of our added content. Do you have any other specific recommendations? Obviously, the copy was written by our marketing team for brochures, etc., , so I'm trying to re-work it as best I can to be more factual and less advertising, but if you have specific things you can point out, I'll do my best to clean that as well. Re: The files, this is my first time working with file licensing on Wikipedia. I saw another school used the "Logo" file licensing, so I did that for our logo and did the same for our photographs. I haven't uploaded photographs to wikipedia in a *long* time (maybe 10 years?) so the new format was confusing for me. Edits to MTA bridge and tunnel page.Hello Train2104 I am writing to inform you that GySgtHartman is back on the MTA bridge and tunnel page making the same edits. This person has been informed about the COI, which they have as an employee of this agency. Thank you for any assistance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:2000:7083:8100:4CF1:94C7:1033:F28E (talk) 04:03, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
Debriefing pageHi there - wondering why the addition I made to the Debriefing page have been removed? I reviewed the "What Wikipedia is Not" section and recognize that the piece about "Medical Debriefing in Practice" violates these guidelines, but am unsure as to why the other contributions are exempt. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ckchoung (talk • contribs) 20:42, 5 September 2017 (UTC) Barnstar

Frank Vincent image deletionThanks Train2104 ... Since there are copyright issues that would prohibit use of the image, I'd considered trying to clear it for use, but decided against that was planning to delete it. Appreciate the catch and the notice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andyprod1 (talk • contribs) 18:04, 19 September 2017 (UTC) Photo copyrightHi train. You noted that I might have a copyright issue on one of my images. I'm pretty sure the image is free to use, but I'm tracking down the copyright holder to get permission. I'm pretty sure I'll have it in short order, so it would be good if we can just leave it be until they get back with me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Justinblack (talk • contribs) 11:27, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
This was supposed to be Talk:Light car but I goofed and typed the wrong namespace. I'm not contesting the speedy (having moved the comment to the right place), but I've changed the reason to G6. Hairy Dude (talk) 23:43, 25 September 2017 (UTC) SCOGA Photo copyrightHey bud. I appreciate you trying to make sure all the T's are crossed on photo copyrights, and you're correct that government works aren't ordinarily in the public domain, but the Georgia Supreme Court has granted express permission for images taken from their oral arguments to be used in publications as long as they aren't being sold for a profit or being used to alter the content of oral arguments (for example, you couldn't take an oral argument video and cut it to make one side look like it said something it didn't). If you want to check their policy you can call them. (404) 656-3470. So you might want to save us all the trouble and take down the discussion on the David Freeman page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Justinblack (talk • contribs) 10:56, 25 September 2017 (UTC)

In general prod tags can't be re-added once removed, even if the removal was done in bad faith, and the alleged sockmaster is blocked, not banned, so the WP:DEPROD exceptions don't apply. If you still wish to pursue deletion please feel free to open an AFD; I won't object to deletion there. —KuyaBriBriTalk 18:35, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
Help with copyrightsHey, I noticed that you recently nominated one of my images for speedy deletion (which it did deserve). I was wondering if you could help me classify the copyright of the image. It was titled File:Mikemorasky.png. I believe it may fall under fair use, but I'm not sure. Thanks! VTnav (talk) 04:07, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
Files without a license tagHi Train2104. I recently put together a weekly database report which lists files without a license tag. If you have some time, would you help me work through the list? Thanks, FASTILY 00:51, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
Hi Train2104. Can you check this edit you made to Template:Di-missing some article links. Is there a reason "pp" has been added before the category page? I'm asking because some files I've tagged with that template since your edit do not seem to be being added to Category:Wikipedia files missing non-free use rationale for some articles. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:49, 6 October 2017 (UTC)

ITEM DELETIONHi Train2104. I am not quite sure why my article was deleted since I followed the initial feedback which said that I was on the right track and that I had to erase specific language which was expressly indicated in the original feedback. I feel that I followed the first feedback to the point, so why has the article been deleted? Thanks Rory — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122Manor (talk • contribs) 03:08, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for your answer. I don't understand why the image was cancelled -- it is standard for academic journal to use the colophon information since the front cover might have copyright information but the colophon is just a set of information about the journal. Why would that not be ok? Also is the page still up then, because I can't see it... thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122Manor (talk • contribs) 02:28, 20 October 2017 (UTC) Michael Semanchik imagesYou notified me that three images that I uploaded for the above-mentioned article (though I actually used only two for the article) had been tagged for speedy deletion. However, I had already received permission from the copyright owner via email to use the images in the article. I just forwarded to the permissions-en@wikimedia.org email address the email I received from the copyright owner giving me permission to use them. How do I reinstate the image and the copyright tag while permission is pending? And do I have to place the fact that I emailed the message to permissions-en@wikimedia.org on some kind of list? Thank you for your prompt reply. Dylanexpert (talk) 00:30, 24 October 2017 (UTC)
OneDome Speedy DeletionHi Train, You marked this for deletion due to stating it was promotional. It's been written using only third party sources, with no intent to promote or sell the product other than explaining what they offer as part of the information in the article. Could you point out exactly what you feel is promotional and I'm happy to rephrase/rewrite? Thank you @Train2104: — Preceding unsigned comment added by KentVorland (talk • contribs) 13:36, 27 October 2017 (UTC)

MetroCard (New York City)Hi. Are you sure they are only to JFK? None to Newark? My original inclination was to target as you did, but being Penn Station, which caters to a large part New Jerseyans, I thought they might target both. In which case to have the target be the dab page would seem appropriate. Onel5969 TT me 00:05, 31 October 2017 (UTC)

MTA bus fleetWhat should we do to end the edit warring? Olsen24 seems determined to add their own images no matter what, and doesn't understand why they're not the best quality. Mtatrain is also getting on my nerves a bit - they're acting a bit owner-y and aggressive as well. I also think that some parts of the page have far too much detail. Information about individual buses (crashes, repairs, minor repowering) is generally below the threshold of an encyclopedia, with occasional exceptions (buses preserved in historical fleets generally have reliable sources to support them, and are also significant for their long-term historical value). Would you be okay with me removing statements like "4619 is out of service due to damage from an accident" and "4899 was originally equipped with a Navistar MaxxForce 9 engine, but was re-powered with a Cummins ISL9 engine."? Even if they can be supported with reliable sources, they don't add anything useful to article that should be a high-level overview. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 02:39, 19 November 2017 (UTC)

ANI Experiences surveyBeginning on November 28, 2017, the Wikimedia Foundation Community health initiative (Safety and Support and Anti-Harassment Tools team) will be conducting a survey to en.wikipedia contributors on their experience and satisfaction level with the Administrator’s Noticeboard/Incidents. This survey will be integral to gathering information about how this noticeboard works - which problems it deals with well, and which problems it struggles with. The survey should take 10-20 minutes to answer, and your individual responses will not be made public. The survey is delivered through Google Forms. The privacy policy for the survey describes how and when Wikimedia collects, uses, and shares the information we receive from survey participants and can be found here: If you would like to take this survey, please sign up on this page, and a link for the survey will be mailed to you via Special:Emailuser. Deck Roof Subway Car 3662I noticed you went to the Shore Line Trolley Museum before, since you uploaded a picture of the R17 controls. I was wondering if you could possibly go back to the museum and take a picture of Deck Roof Hi-V Car 3662? The reason is because that is the only example of the Deck Roof Hi-V left, and it would be an excellent idea to have a picture of that car so readers know what the car looks like. Commons doesn't have a picture of that car yet, so you may be the first one to upload a picture of that car. In case you don't know what the car looks like, here's a picture: https://www.nycsubway.org/perl/show?6891 --Davidng913 (talk) 19:28, 21 December 2017 (UTC) Err..My bad.I should have spotted it:)Additionally, do you see any intersections with D.Trung?Winged BladesGodric 16:40, 22 December 2017 (UTC) ThanksThanks for finding all of those unregistered user pages...but my hands hurt from deleting all of them!
