Please read WP:V and WP:RS. Several editors have explained to you why Akin's article in the Baptist Press is not acceptable as a source here on WP. It is not independent, not reliable, and has not been commented on by reliable independent secondary sources. We determine relevance and assign WP:WEIGHT to opinions based on reliable independent sources. A person's opinion is significant and noteworthy only if they say it is. The criteria you are using amount to WP:OR. Furthermore, it is completely irrelvant whether you think the reader will be "enriched" by such material. That is your own personal judgement. We base WP articles on what independent reliable sources say, and determine relevance, noteworthiness and weight on the basis of such sources. Determining which of Akin's opinions are significant on your own based solely on primary sources is original research. That is, it is YOU who are deciding what is important, and what is not, rather than independent experts. We can use his writings to illustrate his opinions if and only if these specific opinions have been considered significant enough by independent experts, scholars and journalists to write about themselves. If a particular opinion has never been discussed by reliable independent sources, it simply does not exist as far as WP is concerned. Another thing to consider that the Akin article you cited is not intendended to be a scholarly work, even by Baptist standards. It is more of a personal reflection, and does not appear binding in any way on Akin's fellow Baptists. We don't really know if it is representative of Akin's own thought, or if it is an important component of it, as we have no relaible sources discussing the matter. I doubt that he would use this argument in an academic settting, even a Baptist academic setting, because it is logically incoherent and, sorry to say, rather amateurish. If he had published real scholarly articles on the topic published in an independent reliable source, that would be another matter. But poorly formulated personal musings in his own magazine can be safely ignored until scholars in the outside world seriously discuss them. Please read and try to understand the logic behind the relevant polcies I listed above. Other editors on other talk pages have also answered your questions with the essentially the same argument, but in slightly different language. Read their answers, too. Hope this helps. Good luck!
