Thanks for the invite! Yes, I would like to join. I am quite new to this world. Please guide me as to how to go about it. I too had noticed your presence.
As requested. It's just the standard welcome message for contributors.
"Hi TinucherianBot II, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for your contributions. I hope you'll enjoy your time here. It's easy to start a new article, and go to Halley Baljey (Town Hall) to talk to other ysers (if you want to) or to Ynnyd y phobble to get a grip on the latest happenings on Wikipedia.
Please sign your name on your talk page messages with four tildes(~~~~); that will add your name and the date automatically. If you need help, look at gv:Wikipedia:Cooney or add a message on (AllieBot's) talk page. Again, welcome!"
Continuing our discussion here:
What I had in mind was to pull news from some website, say Google News, and update it on portals, such as Portal:Kerala. It's been lying unattended ever since I reduced my wiki activities. :(
The bot would ideally have to pull the feed, separate the content, and update the information on the wiki page. It should also archive old entries. --thunderboltz(TALK)20:37, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
Came across a few articles in the orphan list, which are not really orphan. eg. Birla Balika Vidyapeeth Can you please tell me how to remove the hidden category without opening the article in edit mode?
Came across separate articles for Kokkamangalam and Kokkothamangalam. I think both are about the same place. Noticed the same in Cheppad and Cheppaud. How are such errors set right?
Ok. Hidden cats are usually embedded in templates. They can be removed only by removing the template itself. Other cats are be easily removed/added/changed by enabling the "HotCat" feature from the gadgets section of your preferences.
If you encounter articles of the same thing, add merge tags to them. If you have time, you may merge the article to the most correct name and redirect the other one to it. Make sure you dont lose useful data in the redirected one.
Thank you for the trust you placed in me by supporting my RfA (which passed and, apparently, I am now an admin!). I will do my best to continue to act in a way that is consistent with the policies of wikipedia as well with our common desire to build and perfect this repository of human knowledge; and can only hope that you never feel that your trust was misplaced. Thanks again! --Regent's Park (Rose Garden) 23:44, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Thanks (user box!). Good to know you're keeping an eye out! It's a bit odd being an admin when there are people like you out there who should have got the mop long ago! (Hint, hint!) --Regent's Park (Rose Garden) 16:08, 3 February 2009 (UTC)
Thanks buddies... As of now I am mostly not interested. There are nil adminstrative roles that I do as of now...Whenever I need some admin actions, I am more than happy to get them done from lots of helpful dudes like you... A big thanks again, friends... Makes me feel that I am atleast doing some good work here :) -- TinuCherian - 04:29, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

haha....thanks for your welcome.. I know you are a great user in en.wikipedia because of your many many many and many barnstar.... I am just a advanced user in zh.wikipedia and a beginner user in this wikipedia.... whatever, thanks for your welcome. --JN13:22, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Okay..Let me tell you something...In en.wikipedia when you are replying another's talk, you go to your own usertalk to reply. But in zh.wikipedia, this is diffrent. --JN08:56, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
Tagging by your bot
Hi Tinucherian,
Was this a correct tagging by your bot? I don't see any involvement of Indian wikipedians there, nor is the subject related to India. --Ragib (talk) 20:50, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Could you tag all the following projects and their sub-pages with their banners and categories?
All pages under Wikipedia:WikiProject Soft drinks with , categorize as ?
All pages under Wikipedia:WikiProject Spirits with , categorize as ?
All pages under Wikipedia:WikiProject Wine with , categorize as ?
All pages under Wikipedia:WikiProject Beer with , categorize as ?
All pages under Wikipedia:WikiProject Food and drink with , categorize as ?
The education in India article, a top importance article under WP: India, has recently been rewritten by me. Though the rewrite is is no way complete I invite you to take a look and see, and if possible contribute. Sincerely, JSR056218:24, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
Ola!
Hey.. how's it going? I just took off for a few months from wiki.. exploring other forms of creativity. :) I hope you've been keeping well and taking good care of the wikibot-ic responsibilities. I just got back today.. started off with Rang De Basanti.. cleaned up.. and re-nominated it for A-class review. Let's see how that fares.. Shortly - anything new that I should know? :D I've gotta do a lot of catching up, eh?
I see that you've given me a shiny button for being on the indian wikipedians by the number of edits list. Thanks! Did someone give it to you too? :) I'm sure that you continue to do a great job all these days. Anyways, ping me back whenever possible. Mspraveen (talk) 16:58, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
We're still going strong. Couple of things though; please note that you must make it known you are in the WikiCup when nominating FAs, FLs, FPos, FPs, and FSs. This is to lower the possibility of bias. We're also changing the way you get to the next round. Now, the top two from each round get through, along with ten wildcards. This means that even if you're not in the top two you can still get into Round 2, so even if you're in the group of death you can still go through. Hopefully this will be fairer for all. We've also unfortunately had our first withdrawal - Truco has left the Cup. Best wishes for him in the future. Garden., iMatthew // talk, and The Helpful One

I was guessing that you must have made the Thiruvananthapuram district template earlier, though I did not check the history. I can add the link for other district templates at the bottom of it. One thing: I noticed that one town has got missed in the template: Attingal, I am not sure which taluk (subdivision) it belongs to.--GDibyendu (talk) 18:15, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
Thank dude, Actually I am not interested now in a RFA myself mainly bcoz I am happy doing what I want .... Well, If it happens that I change my decision later, I may expect a co-nom or support from you ( if you have changed your opinion about me by then ) :) Again, Thanks a lot -- TinuCherian - 11:26, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

Yes, I had seen your village articles. Most of mine are stubs, as my knowledge is half-baked and I don't have the confidence to claim that I am right. Let me see what I can do about villages. I think I have expanded a few of your stub articles. I was mainly looking for smaller towns on the National Highways, esp in states which have a lesser presence in Wiki, like Orissa and Chhattisgarh. (I can't ignore my home state too.) Paalappoo (talk) 11:06, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
Yes. We may not be personally able to create full articles for all the 5 lakh villages. But if We can start with something , someone will expand them in future.A new user wishing to write about one of these places won't have to figure out how to start a new article.People are likely to people are more likely to expand a stub than start an article means that all the place stubs that would be created will be likely to get expanded in future. And that is how Wikipedia have always grown ! -- TinuCherian - 11:13, 16 February 2009 (UTC)
It may be a shared network & edited in 3 years back and the users may be unrelated, the one who wrote on your talk page and the vandal ( just a possibility) . Therefore it can be some inet cafe or shared office networks etc ot may not be from the same person. -- TinuCherian - 05:36, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

Hi,
WARNING !!! you are unknowningly against wikipedia policies.

Hi Guys! Well it's Thehelpfulone's first time properly looking at the scores as he made this newsletter and he's impressed on how much work you have all done. It's a shame to say that RyanCross has withdrawn from the Cup. We have almost hit 200 DYKs, not far off from 100 GA's and Durova has passed the 1000 point mark on points, with 1347 points so congratulations to her! Garden., iMatthew // talk, and The Helpful One

I am not sure what exactly you are referring to. If you are referring to this edit summary , I think you have mistaken me. The edit summary was that it doesnt require any special attention of WikiProject India (which I am an active member) as the article is already in a good shape. The template India says "This article is in need of attention from an expert on the subject. WikiProject India or the India Portal may be able to help recruit one." Btw just letting you know I am proud Indian Wikipedian who had created over 1500 India related articles and one of the top 10 Wikipedians from India or Indian orgin . Btw please remember to sign you talk page comments with 4tildes ( ~~~~ ) Cheers -- TinuCherian - 05:20, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
