Lead section hidden note

On June 11 you added a hidden note (amended June 14) to the lead section of Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections after closing the related RFC. I appreciate that you added the note, but as edit warring commenced soon after you adding the note and as the RFC has been partially overridden by a new consensus, it soon became obsolete. Examples of cases where an editor has closed a discussion, declared consensus, and no editor has challenged the consensus can be seen here and here.

What should we do when someone adds new content to the lead – let's say that it's something which violates policies such as OR, V, or NPOV – should we just obey the note and dismiss these policies? Hi there, re: this change about Donald Trump the 45th president, you removed the claim that "45" is used "pejoratively ... to avoid saying his name". Your justification was that the claim was unsourced, but it is sourced here, and that link appears at the top of the entry, so your justification is not properly established. My advice to you would be to maybe self-revert and open a discussion on the article's talk page to try to achieve consensus for inclusion. @Cyphoidbomb: Know Your Meme, a site much like Wikipedia where anyone can contribute (albeit its moderation), could be considered a potentially unreliable source and consensus seems to be against it on the reliable sources noticeboard. October 2018

Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Théodore Monod. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! If we just count the votes, it seems to me that the thread is leaning toward inclusion of the 'neo-Nazi' phrase in the article. Do you have an opinion on how to judge the verdict of the RfC? Or is some other option possible? The 'neo-Nazi' question is being discussed on my talk page at User talk:EdJohnston#Bad protection request. I was hoping for a comment from you about the validity of each side's arguments. My guess is that a lot of people are concerned about whitewashing, so they want to keep 'neo-Nazi' to show they are taking a firm line. @EdJohnston: Personally, I like Nblund's idea of labeling him as a "a white supremacist with close ties to the Neo-Nazi and white nationalist movements" (or similar wording).
