User talk:The Bread/Archive 3Thanks!Hey, thanks for your formatting of the Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops article. XD It looks GREAT. I originally wanted to use that quote thing, but I had no idea how to format it. Thanks again for fixing the references and what not as well. --Op2 06:57, 1 January 2007 (UTC) List of characters in Metal Gear Solid 3I reverted your edit. There's no reason to remove the information. It's all available and easily confirmed by playing the game. Not only that, many people don't have the patience to sit and listen to the radio conversations mentioned in the descriptions, which makes it all the more relevant to providing a thorough character description. Gamer Junkie 03:13, 3 January 2007 (UTC) VandalismI've just reverted your talk page - User talk:65.32.230.68 blanked it and left you a rude message. Looks like he's blocked at the moment anyway; I'm just off to leave warning on his talk page. Squeezeweasel 15:05, 3 January 2007 (UTC) Content AuthoritarianismI see you've added your support. I realise that I added that section to my User Page only minutes after our discussion. I would like to say that it was not in regards to yourself. Gamer Junkie 03:03, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Wikipedia WeekThe best existing proposal I can, in my own limited way, think of for the previously discussed "appreciation week" can now be found at User talk:Badbilltucker/Appreciation Week#Wikipedia Week. Yo BreadCan you GA-review article for me? I've been working on it for months and it's time to see if it's ready. --Twlighter 03:37, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
Weapon danceThank you for giving some attention to the Weapon dance article I started a while back. I had almost forgotten about it. Too many irons in the fire. Greetings from Naples, Italy. Jeffmatt 07:43, 16 January 2007 (UTC) Frank HaddenHey, I've submitted Frank Hadden as a Good Article Candidate, and was wondering if you would assess it? You seem to have some experience with rugby articles that is all. If you could have a look that would be great, but I'll understand if you are too busy. Thanks. - Shudda talk 21:53, 18 January 2007 (UTC) The hold on the GA status: All of the questioned sentence is 100% accurate, unfortunately, in the internet age an online reference is not going to be found easily for all of that. What we do have, however, are the records of MCS itself. Would a reference noting the school magazines be sufficient? There were three per year during Franks time. If somebody wanted to verify they could call the school and ask directly. --Bob 08:20, 19 January 2007 (UTC) Done. --Bob 21:34, 19 January 2007 (UTC) Police box GA reviewThanks for checking out Police box for the GA review. I had a question about the request for citations in the lead section, which I've posted at Talk:Police box. I'm just dropping you a line here because I wasn't sure whether you had put the article on your watchlist or not. Ta! —Josiah Rowe (talk • contribs) 08:41, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
Crusaders peer reviewHi, I've requested a peer review for Crusaders. Could everyone please take a look and help out? I'm trying to get the article up to Featured Article standard, and would like any feedback I can get. You can add any comments here. Thanks a lot! - Shudda talk 03:36, 26 January 2007 (UTC) Reply to "Metal Gear" messageHey, The Bread, thanks for the message on "Metal Gear" cleanup. Nehrams2020 06:33, 31 January 2007 (UTC) Han shot firstThought I'd give you a heads-up in case you don't have the page on your watch list, but the Man in Black is back to his old tricks of removing the entire "References in Pop Culture" section without any discussion. I thought he had given up, as the page has seen little change in 4 months, but I guess he was just biding his time LOL RoyBatty42 19:41, 1 February 2007 (UTC) Well, he came back this week and did his usual "no discussion" imperial change to the page. Removed all the pop culture references and even took out a "See Also" item for the related changes in "E.T." I've reverted it back, so we might be on the cusp of another edit war on the page. Care to weigh in? RoyBatty42 18:58, 16 February 2007 (UTC) Orphaned fair use image (Image:Big boss's.PNG)Thanks for uploading Image:Big boss's.PNG. See you've tagged it, so I thought you may be able to contribute. Cheers. Hyperspacey Big Boss and GeocitiesWhatever you have against the Geocities web host, you can't simply erase every mention of it, without even checking the content of the website. It happens that the references you deleted contained an extremely precise translation of Hideo Kojima's commentaries concerning MGS3, published in various sources like deluxe edition books, etc. Wikipedia needs sources. We can't delete anything just because we think a certain host might be "inapropriate" (and you'll have to justify this statement, because I've yet to find anything against Geocities in the rules of Wikipedia). So if you have anything against a website on a particular host, or if you have anything against the said website (you might not agree with the webmaster), whatever you think, please justify it in the talk page of the article, before doing anything in the main article.Folken de Fanel 13:31, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Rocky and PhiladelphiaCan I ask why you removed the additions to the Rocky webpage as to exactly where some of the scenes were shot? These are topics of considerable interest to people who are Rocky fans and who flock to Philadelphia year in and year out to go to the "Rocky Steps". Now, maybe they will have a little more to come to Philadelphia for and fully appreciate the movie. I cited references and planned on even adding more places up there today.GallagherBros 16:32, 10 February 2007 (UTC) Rocky and Philadelphia"User Gohiking (talk • contribs) seems to be with me on this one. The information is trivial and while interesting, is not really appropriate, how does the fact that a pet store used in the film is for sale effect the movie at all." OK, and by that argument, how does the fact that the Art Museum steps were used in the movie, or that there have been video games made which have been influenced by the movie have any effect on the movie at all? They don't. In the case of the video game, that has NOTHING to do with the movie before or during it's production. On the other hand, the location which I have listed are IN THE MOVIE. By that token it seems that it doesn't make any sense to mention Burt Young or Talia Shire or any other character who was IN THE MOVIE as well. GallagherBros 00:01, 12 February 2007 (UTC) MG series template situationThere appears to have been no interest in the Metal Gear template for some weeks, I believe it's about time we reached some kind of concensus on this one and put it to bed. See relevant Template Talk for discussion. Admitidly, you've said you don't care either way, but hey, I could use some other interested parties who aren't Thirteen and A Man In Black.
