Disambiguation link notification for February 23Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Aderra Inc., you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Slipknot. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or provided a license tag. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator. To add this information, select the appropriate license tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you can't find a suitable license tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. I noticed that you removed some content from Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 without explaining why. Are you in the process of rearranging the content of this article? In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Recent edit to Pro Evolution Soccer 2015Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you removed some content from Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 without explaining why. When you edit, you will need to explain the large amount of text and information that you are removing or moving to other editors so that these large changes won't be seen as unconstructive. Unfortunately, you also don't want to be suspected of some kind of disruptive vandalism so it is best if you explain such a large amount of editing. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Bfpage |leave a message 13:30, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
Project template additionsI've just noticed that you'd started adding the WPVG template to the missing articles. Are you doing these by hand? Ever thought about asking for AWB permission? Video Game Review TemplatesThere is no rule that states that video game templates cannot be used to show reviews in TV articles. The template is quite a useful way to display the scores in the reviews quickly and it is effective in communicating how the episode was received by critics. Please refrain from changing any other articles with such a template. Thank you. - Drywater2k (talk) 17:06, 25 March 2015 (UTC)

Removal of "TThe Binding of Isaac (video game)" & Editing of the "Reception" on rebirth. Why was this typo removed? I see no reason in it not existing. If someone accidentally clicks the "T/t" button twice it should go to the destination wanted, not to a "This page doesn't exist". Also, I didn't just add the user reviews, I also added another part to it, the PS4 version of Rebirth should also have its reviews shown, I can see why you removed the user reviews but I cannot see why the PS4 one was removed. Orphaned non-free image File:Ssx3soundtrack.jpgThanks for uploading File:Ssx3soundtrack.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media). Isn't it important that Distribution Mediums remain a part of the general information? I've checked plenty of other pages, and nowhere do I see the general consensus to go about deleting the Distribution aspect of the infobox video game. A helpful answer would be nice. --MontgomeryDalton (MontgomeryDalton) 19:30, 8 May 2015 (UTC) @MontgomeryDalton: There was a link to the concensus in my edit summary. In case you didn't view that, here is the discussion: Template talk:Infobox video game#Media. The parameter has been removed from the template so even if you re-add it in the article it won't appear. --The1337gamer (talk) 23:36, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
--MontgomeryDalton (MontgomeryDalton) 23:50, 8 May 2015 (UTC) @MontgomeryDalton: If you want to then go ahead, but it's nothing to worry about it. There's around 20,000 video game articles with an infobox on. Loads of them have defunct parameters. They just won't show up once the article is updated. Eventually someone (like myself) or a bot will come along and clean it up. I'm using a semi-automated tool to speed up the process as this stuff can get pretty tedious and take a long time when there are thousands of articles to deal with. --The1337gamer (talk) 23:58, 8 May 2015 (UTC) A pie for you!

Bots
What, exactly, is breaking? The "default continuation mode" for action=query requests to api.php will be changing to be easier for new coders to use correctly. To find out whether your script or bot may be affected, then search the source code (including any frameworks or libraries) for the string "query-continue". If that is not present, then the script or bot is not affected. In a few cases, the code will be present but not used. In that case, the script or bot will continue working. This change will be part of 1.26wmf12. It will be deployed to test wikis (including mediawiki.org) on 30 June, to non-Wikipedias (such as Wiktionary) on 1 July, and to all Wikipedias on 2 July 2015. If your bot or script is receiving the warning about this upcoming change (as seen at https://www.mediawiki.org/w/api.php?action=query&list=allpages ), it's time to fix your code!
Either of the above solutions may be tested immediately, you'll know it works because you stop seeing the warning. Do you need help with your own bot or script? Ask questions in e-mail on the mediawiki-api or wikitech-l mailing lists. Volunteers at m:Tech or w:en:WP:Village pump (technical) or w:en:Wikipedia:Bot owners' noticeboard may also be able to help you. Are you using someone else's gadgets or user scripts? Most scripts are not affected. To find out if a script you use needs to be updated, then post a note at the discussion page for the gadget or the talk page of the user who originally made the script. Bloodstained Forums LinkRegarding this note: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:MikeyMc#June_2015 The fan forums link that was removed was completely understandable for the time it was removed. However, in the latest KickStarter update for the project the forums were shown to soon be official. Can we now include a link to those forums? The admin account is in the hands of FanGamer who are officially staff of the Bloodstained game. Here is the link to the update: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/iga/bloodstained-ritual-of-the-night/posts/1286023 Best regards, Mike McDaniel
Can you say something directly instead of referring me to links? Having read what you provided, I think having all the covers is justified. I think NBA 2K12 having all the covers would be justified for the same reason. Having all covers makes the article better. What harm does it do having the pictures in the article while they can be put in the article (while they are uploaded and have not been deleted)? I think one cover is absolutely fine. However, if you can use all four, why wouldn't you? The reasonings are stupid (things like "it is preferred"). Not a big deal either way. —DangerousJXD (talk) 09:28, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
August 2015The information I added is clearly "Subject-specific common knowledge" which doesn't require citation, and whether it is my responsibility to cite it or not, does not mean that it should be removed. As I said earlier, "citation needed" could be added. WP:When to cite Freshness For Lettuce (talk) 12:19, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
I am not wasting time and not trying to "justify" it to you, I was explaining things such as how Good Article is "trivial". It is entertaining to converse and I was already looking for a source. If it should have had a source in somebody's opinion, "citation needed" should've been used as I said and WP:NOCITE recommends. Freshness For Lettuce (talk) 14:29, 1 August 2015 (UTC)

Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 18:54, 26 September 2015 (UTC) September 2015Your recent editing history at Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. ~ NottNott talk|contrib 13:43, 27 September 2015 (UTC)

The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages. One of the rules is that students are not allowed to edit the mainspace before they have received permission from me and from the WikiEd team. This is to avoid huge cleanups that have been required in years past when profs are not supervising properly. I have blanked the page to alert the community that the page should be deleted. If the student does a good job in their sandbox, then the material will be moved online, not before. Let me know if you have any further questions as I will be blanking the page again. If it's not a problem, could you provide protection on pages List of Nintendo 3DS games, List of Wii U software? Because I keep seeing some spam posts. But what concerns me is every time I see the Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U Wiki page show up on my email. I checked out the changes and the changes are sometimes spam posts, like the Shrek spam that I keep seeing. That needs to stop. If at all possible, could you provide protection of these pages to reduce spamming posts in the future? Zacharyalejandro (talk) 17:48, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
Lara Croft GoHey—would you be interested in working on Lara Croft Go with me? I rewrote the dev section and am working on the Reception, but it would be great if you could round out the Gameplay section on the way to GA. I think it would be most helpful to describe the game as being board game-like with a pawn that is moved about a board, activating switches and whatnot, but perhaps see if a source actually describes it like that? It's a bit too oblique as written. czar 03:38, 18 December 2015 (UTC) New game page needs a reviewAtwar was a name redirect that has been taken over for an article on the AtWar game. Since it was an existing redirect the article never went through a new article review. I've removed the worst (refs to wikipedia, social media links, highest scores, etc.) and added a few maintenance tags, but it needs much more work and the authors are ignoring the tags. It looks to me as if there is way too much chatty detail, and almost no reliable, independent sources, but I'm not a games article person so I don't know where to look for better sources or what is normal content. Divinity: Original Sin 2 on consolesHello there, the source is in the Enchanced edition of Divinity: Original Sin 1. According to the release of the consoles edition, this indicates that they will in fact release a Divinity: Original Sin 2 enhanced edition to the consoles, there is no doubts that they will launch a console edition soon after the PC version. 179.210.81.233 (talk) 19:21, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
Notes to the amiibo pageHey. I want your help with something. On the amiibo page, there is a bunch for notes underneath the List of Amiibo-branded NFC items, I want them moved to the Notes section at the bottom of the page. Think you could do that for me? I appreciate it. Thanks! Zacharyalejandro (talk) 04:33, 29 December 2015 (UTC) New Nintendo 3DS Cover PlatesI have another question. Could you also add the four Pokémon cover plates for the New Nintendo 3DS? They were announced for release in Japan on February 27th, 2016 as part of Pokémon's 20th Anniversary. http://www.nintendo-insider.com/2015/12/25/new-3ds-cover-plates-mark-pokemon-20th-anniversary/? Adding an insert in Monster High pageDo you mind adding the video games to the Monster High wiki page. These games are Monster High: New Ghoul in School and Monster High: Skultimate Roller Maze. If you can add these video games to the page, I'd greatly appreciate adding a redirect to the 3DS games later. Zacharyalejandro (talk) 03:30, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
@The1337gamer Yes, that would be it. Thanks! If I have any more questions, I'll be sure to give you a holler. That OK? Zacharyalejandro (talk) 00:41, 31 December 2015 (UTC) |
