Happy New Year!![]() Dear Tenebrae, This message promotes WikiLove. Originally created by Nahnah4 (see "invisible note"). Beauty and the BeastHi Tenebrae, thanks for the "thanks" re: my reversion of plot bloat at Beauty and the Beast (1991 film). It probably wouldn't hurt if I could con you into leaving a quick, perfunctory note on the talk page. Based on some of their other edits, I see a pattern of adding bloated plots, so establishing some opinions early might help us down the road. A good day to you! Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:13, 30 January 2015 (UTC) DaredevilThanks for your recent trimming of the 2010s section in Daredevil (comics). I've long felt that section was a little too bloated, but I haven't been keeping up with the series for the past decade so I wasn't sure which elements are important and which could be trimmed. I appreciate it.--NukeofEarl (talk) 16:39, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

Happy Bottom Riding ClubThanks for taking the time on the article about one of America's famous aviatrix. She is kind of a hero of mine for her flying ability and who she knew in the early days of Edwards Air Force Base. I have been to the base museum several times and she was commonly referred to as Pancho and she loved that name. I noticed you changed some of the names to Barnes which may seem normally appropriate but I believe Pancho is more appropriate as that is what all the early test pilots like Chuck Yeager called her as she preferred that. Could you please change some of those back as I believe it is more appropriate here. It was also her flying name as well. Vive la Pancho! 172.56.15.36 (talk) 14:07, 22 February 2015 (UTC) A barnstar for you!

Favorite book on writingHello, Tenebrae. Thanks for the "thanks" on "which/that/which" over on "Brian Williams," and for the note. It's always fun to get a note on Wikipedia. From what you said, and from your mention of Strunk & White, it seemed you and I might care about the same sorts of things, and so I commend to you my favorite book on writing: The Practical Stylist, by Sheridan Baker. Here's a link from Amazon to my favorite edition, the one from 1962. I don't have a copy at hand right now, but I think I remember Uncle Sheridan on "which v. that" as follows: Test every "which" to see if it should be "that"; and then test every "that" to see if it should be gone! That's where I get into trouble: once I've dumped my "thats," subsequent editors are forever putting them back in. For example, they'd prefer I write to you about "the book that I like best on writing," rather than "the book I like best . . ." I love talking about this stuff! Best -- Bruiserid (talk) 04:43, 27 March 2015 (UTC) Thank YouI also want to thank you, in return, as I see you are a great contributor to the site. Cheers. JosephSpiral (talk) 21:33, 5 April 2015 (UTC) G8Hi Tenebrae, though I see the logic, your tagging of Oklahoma Film Critics Circle Awards 20XX articles with G8 unfortunately wasn't a valid use of the tag; it's for more clear-cut dependencies rather than inherited lack of notability. Trying to help...Heya, apologies for the unsolicited drop in...just wanted to say that while I think you're making a number of good points at WT:FILM, I'm concerned that your tone is undermining your credibility, potentially polarizing people and maybe even dissuading some people who might support your views from getting involved. Feel free to utterly ignore what I'm saying. Just trying to help. I understand that you're frustrated and all (there are reasons why I disengaged from the situation), but you know what they say about flies and honey and vinegar and all... Anyway, if you want to chat about it I'm totally cool with that. I won't say anything further about this unless I hear back, and I apologize if you feel I'm jumping on your case at all. Cheers! Duggar home locationHi Tenebrae, on the Duggar family, the address you have listed, from the tax records, is the trust fund address. The family home is about half a mile away. The physical house shows up clearly on Earth View, and Google Street View, so you can compare that house to known photos of the Duggar house and they are obviously the same home. The city of Springdale shows that location as being outside of the Springdale city limits, and places it inside of Tontitown per the zoning map here [7]; the 2013 aerial photos Springdale uses for zoning show the house as being beyond the Springdale city limits and clearly within Tontitown. Now, I wish that was the end of it. You can find the same address listed as being in Tontitown on some sites and as being in Springdale on others (123 XYZ Rd Tontitown, AR 72762 vs 123 XYZ Rd Springdale, AR 72762) If you enter the address as Springdale, Google will convert it over to Tontitown, as will one national real estate site. The Zip code is Springdale, although where I live we have overlapping zip codes, so I would not count that one way or another. The House itself is specifically tagged on Google as being in Tontitown; however, the businesses near the house are tagged as being in Springdale. So I am throwing my hands up. Actually one site lists the dad as having been a Senate candidate from Tontitown, but lists his address as being Springdale, and not Tontitown. Go figure. Your revertThe purpose of what I did with the edit was not to be "Marvel Press Agent" as you claimed, but it's pretty clear to me that the paragraph was meant to be from Marvel's PoV if it's written as "Marvel counts among its characters etc etc". And what do you mean by "long stable version"? Was there an established consensus among editors in the past for who was to be listed in that paragraph to begin with, or simply because no one bothered to challenge the content, change or edit it? Because I've checked the history, and it's quite clear to me that editors have been adding or subtracting from that list for years. I know this because I have made additions without having it be reverted? Don't think it's a bit arbitrary for you to revert back to a version which is very likely to be based on original research, as opposed to what I did when I actually added sources referencing no other then the offical website of the publisher itself? Quinton AaronHello, Earlier today you reverted an edit I made on the article Quinton Aaron, in which you found Hollywood.com to be an unreliable source. I have found a more reliable source to prove Aaron's birthday to be August 15, and would like to invite you to join the discussion about it on the talk page. Thank you. It seemed that you were exasperated, but each side was sharing info and giving reasons, so I decided to do...nothing, as it seemed like the situation might resolve. Jehochman Talk 20:34, 27 October 2015 (UTC) American Sniper production co.Hi. I saw your revert of the IP. I had seen his addition of RatPac-Dune Entertainment, and was initially going to revert as well, however, they are listed as one of the production companies on imdb. While I know that is usually not a reliable source, it is pretty good for production companies. Thoughts? I'm glad to see someone attacking problems of style as well as content in these articles, many of which sorely need such improvements. Thank you for your contributions. The template is just showing it in a concise manner. It's actually the default if you were to just put "{{Template:Marriage}}": the date would at first appear as "m. 2015", but if you hovered over the date it would give you the date that was imputed into the template. Ex.: (date missing). This is why the dotted lines appear underneath the "m." and the given year. This is how the template page tells users to input the marriage info]. I actually only recently figured this out, so I know it's not necessarily immediately obvious if you're not looking for it. The use of the dates for this can be seen on a number of notable pages, such as those of European royal families, etc. Perhaps it's a topic for discussion on the template's talk page? I've checked and I don't see any discussion on it so far. ~ Iamthecheese44 (talk) 05:58, 13 November 2015 (UTC)
Kim ZolciakYou can blank the page all you want, but the deleted posts are still readily available by clicking on this page's History links. Your edits at Kim Zolciak viiolate, as previously noted, both WP:BLP and WP:SYNTH. You simply cannot keep violating two of Wikipedia's core policies. You clearly seem to have an ax to grind, and so I've asked an admin to protect the page from anon IP edits. If you continue to make these uncited, POV edits, I will ask an admin to block this IP from editing. You should take your issues to the article's talk page rather than edit-warring under different IP addresses. --Tenebrae (talk) 20:00, 14 November 2015 (UTC) Please do not post threats to me. I have no axe to grind. The information is there because it needs to be there. I do not like your tone so just post on the discussion page for Kim . Good luck. 173.66.63.102 (talk) 01:05, 15 November 2015 (UTC) Neal AdamsHi, just to let you know that the introduction of a tracking code in the URL was merely accidental (talking about edit on Adams article). Apart from that, your tone in the edit summary was a bit rough (I'm probably sensible, but it was my impression). Regards, Fma12 (talk) 11:40, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
Hi, Mickie JamesI was the one who made the edit in the Mickie James page regarding her MCW Women's Championship victory. In the match, James was the one who was attacked; she was attacked by villainous enforcer Melina. Just wanted to clear that up. Thanks! CEDJunior (talk) 16:57, 5 December 2015 (UTC) Peta MurgatroydI completely understand where you were coming from. It's hard sometimes to find a reliable source for some basic celebrity information. I knew Peta had revealed her middle name, but finding a source was difficult. I just wanted to make sure someone wouldn't see facebook and automatically assume it was not a sufficient source. Anyway, I appreciate your edit and comments. Thank you for being so polite and constructive. Knope7 (talk) 04:01, 7 December 2015 (UTC) Please explain the rationale behind the reversion. My small addition concerned something which was on-screen, and I felt it necessary as I was puzzled by the sequence when I first watched the film. The previous descriptive sentence ("In a post-credits scene … four horsemen watch from nearby") fails to explain why that short scene appears. Did you mean the explanation better fits at the end of the page's lead paragraphs, where the sequel is mentioned? We are currently debating the matter here, and I'm trying my best to convey what I believe constitutes as a suitable plot summary, but I feel it isn't enough. Spread the holiday cheer by adding {{subst:User:Flaming/MC2008}} to their talk page with a friendly message. I'm wishing you a Merry Christmas, because that is what I celebrate. If you don't like Christmas or just don't celebrate it in any of its forms, then please accept a generic "Happy Holidays". If you celebrate no holidays at this time of year, then hopefully you will be satisfied with an even more generic "Season's Greetings". :) BOZ (talk) 18:58, 24 December 2015 (UTC) Mohamed Hadid has been nominated for Did You Know

The only change I made to the Poppy Harlow article was to revert a blanking of the page by an IP user to the prior unvandalized version. If it appears that I did something else, I have no explanation for the glitch and I'm honestly not even sure what your criticism means. My apologies for any misunderstanding. I do note that my userpage has been recently vandalized by an IP user. Julietdeltalima (talk) 20:37, 28 December 2015 (UTC)

BatmanCan you please weigh in on the Live-adaptations discussion on the Batman talk page? The discussion is whether or not David Mazouz should be included in one the lead paragraphs as an actor who has played Batman. I have argued against his name being listed, since this is a child actor who plays a young Bruce Wayne in the TV series Gotham and has never played the costumed superhero Batman. I believe he should be mentioned in the body of the article, but not in a lead paragraph.DrRNC (talk) 21:27, 31 December 2015 (UTC) |
