If I make a mistake, or if you see a way I could edit better, please feel free to let me know. All I ask is that you be civil, and remember that I mean well.
Conversations will be continued on this talk page when they are started here.
Please do not remove any legitimate discussions, even completed ones, from my talk page. I keep all of them for reference, as my memory can be rather poor at times.
I am slowly returning to my normal life, I have been out of touch, and indeed at times out of capability to know anything about or even visit Wikipedia for quite some time now. Templarion善意06:39, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Templarion, I'm the one who originally protected your userpage (it was worse for a while, I originally blocked you before lifting the block per WP:DWG!). It seems this all happened because I was a little too willing to trust an IP user, in combination with the fact that the information I could find dovetailed pretty neatly with the IP's story. In any case, I'm glad to hear you are, in fact, still among the living, and apologize for the confusion and trouble. Sorry! 「ダイノガイ千?!」? · Talk⇒Dinoguy100018:52, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No apologies are needed, I understand what happened. Thanks for unprotected it, coming back and finding myself proclaimed dead was a bit of a shock, but nothing too bad. Lets hope that declaration is not needed again for a very, very long time. Templarion善意03:01, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
New Page Patrol survey
New page patrol – Survey Invitation
Hello Templarion! The WMF is currently developing new tools to make new page patrolling much easier. Whether you have patrolled many pages or only a few, we now need to know about your experience. The survey takes only 6 minutes, and the information you provide will not be shared with third parties other than to assist us in analyzing the results of the survey; the WMF will not use the information to identify you.
If this invitation also appears on other accounts you may have, please complete the survey once only.
If this has been sent to you in error and you have never patrolled new pages, please ignore it.
Please click HERE to take part.
Many thanks in advance for providing this essential feedback.
You are receiving this invitation because you have patrolled new pages. For more information, please see NPP Survey. Global message delivery 13:31, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.
Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.
