Translation Page for Haley StarshineYou... are a Philistine. I know your type. You think that encyclopedias should have in them only knowledge that is practical and can be used to get a passing grade in something. "Encyclopedia" means general knowledge. It doesn't matter that the knowledge can be found elsewhere, either. Most knowledge in an encyclopedia can be found elsewhere. Moreover, it doesn't matter that there is no context for the translations here; the places in which she speaks her crytograms are linked on the page. You just don't like fun. You are the worst kind of editor; the kind that would eliminate knowledge based on his own subjective standard, rather than looking at things objectively. Sadly, there are more of you than there are editors of my type, and you squat on the deletion boards. You'll more than likely win this battle, but I will continue to fight for what I believe in, and call you what you are; an obstreperous jerk.--ttogreh 03:14, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
--NeoAC 23 December 2006 OK, now I know....Thank you for explaining your reasons. As I said before, I am still relatively new here, and am still learning my way around. Hopefully, in the future, any article I create will be more acceptable. I appreciate the constructive criticism, and hopefully, next time we discuss something, it will be on better terms. --NeoAC 27 December 2006 Orphaned fair use image (Image:Durkon.gif)Thanks for uploading Image:Durkon.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy). If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. I'm not sure how well any of this meshes with wikipedia's policy regarding fiction. The reason I removed the statement is because, unsourced, it represents a distortion. Impressions and even obvious deductions really do qualify as original research. i kan reed 00:42, 9 February 2007 (UTC) Your edit summary on Order of the StickRe-read that cryptogram. It translates as "Chaotic good-ish". You said that there was no "ish" about it. That's incorrect. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Flycatcher.gifThanks for uploading Image:Flycatcher.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. I was unable to find any references to the Dr. Who spin-off chart song (with fairly uninspired lyrics but somewhat iconic nonetheless). I was trying to find out who released it and with what if any relationship to the BBC officially. I would rather not add time to this article at the moment but do like to see truth (and arcane nostalgic chart music) prosper. Would you be able to fix the omission from the article and/or the Dab page? I think it should go at the top or very bottom of the 'references in popular culture' section, if there was one; already my memory is hazy. Not good qualities for an editor! Thank-you for reading this and again if you are interested. Kathybramley (talk) 21:39, 26 May 2011 (UTC) Disambiguation link notificationHi. When you recently edited Adam Baldwin, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Casey (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
