Vista 5456 release dateI was tracking the release of build 5456, and it was released on June 24, even though Connect says June 23. Connect also says that build 5456 was released before the two new beta 2 language versions, which is not the case. I'm just trying to avoid an edit war. Also, look at the release date on this page: [1]. — Alex (T|C|E) 20:28, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Hi again, sorry I kept you waiting. Must have slipped my mind. Anyway, as far as figuring out your n-th edit, the quickest way to do it (at least for multiples of 500) is just to use the contributions list, starting with the oldest contributions. This link will take you to your first 500 edits – the one at the top of the list is your 500th edit, and the one at the bottom is your first. Click the "Newer 500" link, and now the first edit in the list will be your 1000th. Keep clicking "Newer 500" and the first edit in the list each time will be the 1500th, 2000th and so on, until you get to the newest page. I've made a change to User:Super-Magician to right-align the "(edit)" link; basically I've turned the section header into a table, and split it in two, right-aligned one half and put the link in there. Is this better? – Gurch 20:53, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
Ah, yes, I forgot about one detail. Click the "Oldest" link first, then click the "500" link, and it will give you the oldest 500. From there the rest should work.
I've edited User:Super-Magician/revise to put the box in the center. The only way to get rid of the infobox borders, though, would be to re-write the template without them. – Gurch 16:12, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
Yes, there seems to be a difference in the way certain browsers render the bit I added – not sure why. I just tried viewing it in Internet Explorer and as you say, it's left-aligned – while in Firefox (which I normally use) it's centered. Anyway, when I have a moment (sometime tomorrow, hopefully), I'll get rid of the borders – Gurch 21:13, 4 July 2006 (UTC) Re: More on my page?Super-Magician wrote:

I know you were updating as you stated in the 2006 season's history page, but the question is that before you edited, I wrote down a few storm infos, but after you edited somewhat of it was gone. But can you just give me a link of why you replaced my info, so we can settle this discussion? Alastor Moody (talk) 19:23, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
Alastor, anyone can edit Wikipedia. There is no rule saying what he can and cannot edit. Chacor 06:44, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
the government inspectorApologies, but i wasn't testing. I think my mouse slipped and i clicked on one of the icons at the top. No idea what that did or why, and i was trying to work out how to get done what i had originally intended: Italicise the title(s) while keeping them bold. Don't think i'll bother to keep trying, in case i do something else wrong. Amo 20:53, 15 July 2006 (UTC) Hello. Thanks for your message, but which page are you talking about ? Koubiak 21:24, 15 July 2006 (UTC) OK Well, being French, I am aware of the exact terms that were exchanged at the time. Youre right, i'll explain my edit in the discussion page. Thanks for the warning, though. Koubiak 21:27, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
Evan FoleyPerhaps it was an accident, but please don't blank articles when you add a speedy delete tag, as happened with Evan Foley. Thanks. --MichaelZimmer (talk) 22:14, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
Heads-Up That I've Reverted a Removal You MadeI wanted to advise you that I've reverted your removal of 82.25.23.38 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)'s "vote" on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of minor Star Wars organizations, for the following reasons: first, Wikipedia's deletion policy states, "Please do not remove any statements from any deletion discussion" (link). Secondly although I agree the anonymous user's commentary was extremely uncivil, I do not believe that use of profanity or uncivil terms in a vote qualifies it as vandalism able to be reverted under Wikipedia's vandalism guidelines. Although the user does show some signs of being a vandal ([2]), that doesn't prohibit him from voting. It's likely per WP:DGFA ("administrators can disregard opinions and comments if they feel that there is strong evidence that they were not made in good faith") that it'll be ignored anyway. — Mike (talk • contribs) 00:34, 16 July 2006 (UTC) eric CantonaI don't really see why you accused me of vandalism but whatever pleases you...Koubiak 09:21, 16 July 2006 (UTC) SockbotMr. Super Magician: I have it from a solid source that user Samuel Luo is employing a sockbot by the name of Yueyuen. If you have any particular recommendations to keep it neutral, please don't hesitate to post. atb KrishnaVindaloo 04:14, 17 July 2006 (UTC) Regarding your recent timeline editsI have, as I and others have in the past as well, reverted your recent edits to the timeline of the 2006 PHS. Wikipedia is not paper. Totally seperate and unrelated events should ALWAYS be listed seperately, irregardless of the time the advisory is released. I guess his edit to your vandal hits page was a self-fulfilling prophecy! - CobaltBlueTony 19:39, 14 August 2006 (UTC) Hacker/CrackerYou insist on reverting my edit, but I think its too minor an issue to bother the article's talk page with, so I bring it to you personally. The accepted definition of a 'hacker' is 'One who programs enthusiastically (even obsessively) or who enjoys programming rather than just theorizing about programming.', that it is commonly used in connection with illegal breaking activity by mainstream sources doesn't negate its original definition. Furthermore, the two terms are not exchangeable. A cracker is an individual who attempts to gain unauthorised access to a computer system. This can be done in many different ways, including using prefabricated utilities widely available. Therefore, a cracker need not be a hacker in its original meaning, and a hacker does not necessarily enage in illegal activities. Let's use both terms for their proper meanings, eh? That many technologically challanged media sources confuse the facts doesn't mean wikipedia should also follow this practice. 82.72.113.246 13:55, 15 August 2006 (UTC) Format ProblemHey, Super-Magician,I'm Legolost, Im editing as an IP cause, I've clicked the Nostalgia format and I've completly stuffed it, so I can't edit without alot of trouble, Do you know anyway I can get out of the Nostalgia format, and i can't find my prefrences. Please don'tPlease don't retitle the storm name sections further without discussion. It was agreed last year that the year would be redundant. It's obvious that an article about the 2006 PHS or 2007 PHS would only carry the names for 2006 or 2007. – Chacor 00:39, 23 May 2007 (UTC) Christian MusicGet your bot or yourself of the Christian Music page. Question re. Sportsvite pageHi, I'm an intern for Sportsvite and I'm actually new to wikipedia. I just tried to update out page and i saw that you removed the changes i made. Did i do anything that didn't make sense? Once again, I'm new to wikipedia, and I'd love to get some help/tips on how to do things better. Feel free to email me at orrenkt@gmail.com Thanks, Orren —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Orren (talk • contribs).

You're kidding, right? Removing a sentence saying that Flavor Flav has a small penis is vandalism?? I think you need to go back and look at what you reverted. FlerA person who mentions violence as a "cool thing" and who says that he uses violence and he is proud of it, is in my opinion an idiot. Such a person should not be mentioned at wikipedia. It is enough that he is mentioned in the german wikipedia. He is not relevant enough for the "international" wikipedia. He is an unsuccesful, not very intelligent idiot who loves to use violence. Deconstructive EditsYou recently mentioned on this IP's talk page that a deconstructive edit was made, and if you looked around you may have noticed that it obviously was not the first. I'm not entirely sure of the procol regarding this, but this IP belongs to a public school and I'd suggest having an administrator permanently ban the address. If you could see that through I'm sure that all of Wikipedia would be much obliged, thank you. 151.198.85.18 (talk) 13:30, 11 June 2008 (UTC) Harry PotterWelcome to Wikipedia.
