hi

Hi Suonii180, i see that you have added your name to Wikipedia:WikiProject Children's literature/Participants, welcome! I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Here are some pages that i have found to be particularly helpful -

Introduction, The five pillars of Wikipedia, editing pages, How to write an article (especially sourcing an article), Simplified Manual of Style, and Writing an article.

See you around. Coolabahapple (talk) 23:52, 16 September 2016 (UTC)
@Coolabahapple: Thanks! I've only created a few articles so far so the guides have been very helpful :-)

Featuring your work on Wikipedia's front page: DYKs

Thank you for your recent articles, including Zoe Pilger, which I read with interest. When you create an extensive and well referenced article, you may want to have it featured on Wikipedia's main page in the Did You Know section. Articles included there will be read by thousands of our viewers. To do so, add your article to the list at T:TDYK. Let me know if you need help, Pppery 00:09, 9 October 2016 (UTC)

Thanks, and a request

Hello! Thank you for evaluating the Charles Harvey Combe-article. I am glad that this article I created is promoted to start-class. But what I was wondering: could you also take a look at the Barbara Ayrton-Gould and George Dallas (Labour politician)-articles? A lot has happened since they were regarded as a stub, back in 2009. Best regards,Jeff5102 (talk) 08:48, 16 November 2016 (UTC)

Nomination of 2017 in archaeology for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article 2017 in archaeology is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2017 in archaeology until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. KAP03 (talk) 17:39, 23 December 2016 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Writer's Barnstar
Keep up the good work writing articles like Francesca Segal. We need more people writing about Women Writers. If you haven't see it yet, I highly recommending working with Wikipedia:WikiProject Women writers. Its a great collaboration between different editors, who want to increase the coverage of Women on Wikipedia. Sadads (talk) 01:13, 9 February 2017 (UTC)

Unreferenced clean-up template

Hi Suonii180, please note that I reverted your inclusion of the "unreferenced" clean-up template at Jemison High School as the article included the official website in the infobox and in the external links section of the article, which is a primary source for verifying information in the article. The template is only to be used on articles with no citations at all. The instructions for use of the unreferenced template can be found at Template:Unreferenced.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:59, 23 March 2017 (UTC)

Revisions to Talk pages

I notice that when you have revised the headers on Talk pages that there is no historical content. This seems odd. What have you done to removes old discussions? On some of these pages, the discussion has resolved issues, which will only revive if the content can not be found. However, as I can not see the old content, this may have been removed at a different stage? Shipsview (talk)

@Shipsview: Hi, sorry for the late reply, I've been away for a few weeks and had very limited access to wifi. The only edits I'm aware I've made to talk pages has been to access the quality and importance of unassessed articles for wikiprojects and if I've deleted any sections or old discussions to talk pages it's been completely accidental. If this has happened, please feel free to revert any edits I've made.(Suonii180 (talk) 21:36, 16 April 2017 (UTC))

Hi. This month The Women in Red World Contest is being held to try to produce new articles for as many countries worldwide and occupations as possible. There is over £3000 in prizes to win, including Amazon vouchers and paid subscriptions. Wikimedia UK is putting up £250 specifically for editors who produce the most quality new women bios for British women, with special consideration given to missing notable biographies from the Oxford Dictionary of Biography and Welsh Dictionary of Biography. If you're not interested in prize money yourself but are willing to participate independently this is also fine, but please add any articles created to the bottom of the main contest page even if not competing. Your participation in the contest and contributing articles on British women from your area or wherever would we much appreciated. Thanks.

Autopatrolled right

Hello Louise, thanks for all your contributions. I notice that you’ve now written more than 25 articles, which makes you eligible to have your account marked as auto patrolled. This would mean that your articles get automatically marked as reviewed, without needing manual patrol. As I can tell that you know what you’re doing, would you be happy to be nominated for this right? I’m keen to reduce the number of valid articles new page reviewers need to examine.

You can nominate yourself if you want or I’d be very happy to do it for you. Blythwood (talk) 12:21, 15 November 2017 (UTC)

@Blythwood: Thank you! If you could nominate me, that would be great Suonii180 (talk) 00:30, 16 November 2017 (UTC)
OK, that's great. I've nominated you. I've patrolled your latest article–if you could add authcon tags to bio articles from authors from now on that would be great, though. Blythwood (talk) 05:00, 16 November 2017 (UTC)

Autopatrolled granted

Hi Suonii180, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Alex Shih (talk) 05:05, 16 November 2017 (UTC)

New Page Reviewing

Hello, Suonii180.

I've seen you editing recently and you seem knowledgeable about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
Would you please consider becoming a New Page Reviewer? Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time but it requires a good understanding of Wikipedia policies and guidelines; currently Wikipedia needs experienced users at this task. (After gaining the flag, patrolling is not mandatory. One can do it at their convenience). But kindly read the tutorial before making your decision. Thanks. — Insertcleverphrasehere (or here) 07:38, 23 November 2017 (UTC)

Hi. We're into the last five days of the Women in Red World Contest. There's a new bonus prize of $200 worth of books of your choice to win for creating the most new women biographies between 0:00 on the 26th and 23:59 on 30th November. If you've been contributing to the contest, thank you for your support, we've produced over 2000 articles. If you haven't contributed yet, we would appreciate you taking the time to add entries to our articles achievements list by the end of the month. Thank you, and if participating, good luck with the finale!

1795 in Russia

Hi! Thank you for your good contribution to "1795 in Russia"! For next time, however: don't remove the sections "Births" and "Deaths" from a Year-page. Those sections are suppose to be there. They may have been empty, but the only thing to do is to fill them, not delete them. And they are very easy to fill: just look in the "Category: 1795 births" and "Deaths" and you will find plenty of Russian names. I have just done so. And if you don't want to fill those empty sections yourself, just leave them there for someone else to do one day, but please do not delete them. Thank you, and keep up the good work!--Aciram (talk) 12:26, 23 May 2018 (UTC)

Suggestion for wiki page.

Hi there. I was wondering where would I suggest a wikipage for the Hail Mary murder. It was very famous in the 1990's where a group of mafia-like teenagers decided to kill one of their ex members by a range of methods. It is a very interesting case and one I believe is notable for many reasons. One being the fact it was one of the biggest murder trials in the county's history. @Uncoveringcelebrityhistory:

Hi, you can put up a request on Wikipedia:Requested articles/Applied arts and sciences/Law as there's a section for crimes on there. You could also see if a related WikiProject, such as Wikipedia:WikiProject Crime and Criminal Biography, has their own requested articles list. --Suonii180 (talk) 12:07, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
