Editing Wikipedia can be disheartening and tedious at times; the weekly Editor of the Week award lets its recipients know that their positive behaviour and collaborative spirit is appreciated. The response from the honorees has been enthusiastic and thankful. The list of nominees is running short, and so new nominations are needed for consideration. Have you come across someone in your editing circle who deserves a pat on the back for improving article prose regularly, making it easier to understand? Or perhaps someone has stepped in to mediate a contentious dispute, and did an excellent job. Do you know someone who hasn't received many accolades and is deserving of greater renown? Is there an editor who does lots of little tasks well, such as cleaning up citations? Please help us thank editors who display sustained patterns of excellence, working tirelessly in the background out of the spotlight, by submitting your nomination for Editor of the Week today! I hope you are doing well ... The article Chinnamasta was recently expanded for a potential FAC. IMO, Chinnamasta will benefit from your review. Chinnamasta is a self-decapitated Tantric goddess, who holds her severed head in her hand and drinks blood from her wound.--Redtigerxyz Talk 17:43, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
Alvar or Alwar or AzhwarI thought three spellings of Alvars. There is no consistency in the spelling (Alvar or Alwar or Azhwar). IMO all articles in wikipedia should have the same spelling. Currently, the main article Alvars as well as most of individual Alvar articles use Alvar. I want to create move discussion to move all these article to a standard spelling. What is your take on this.--Redtigerxyz Talk 15:49, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

ContestHi, are you entering the contest or not interested in the prizes? If you want to win something they have to be entered into Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon/Entries. If not that's fine as it is. The Habitats section of the National Park article though still has some unsourced paragraphs. Other than that they'll be approved!♦ Dr. Blofeld 15:23, 16 October 2016 (UTC) It appears that you have added material to the above article using content from the Chalo Chatu Encyclopedia. While you are welcome to re-use licensed content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying from other compatibly-licensed wikis, please at minimum mention in an edit summary at the new page where you got the content. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please go back and provide attribution. Let me know if you have any questions. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:37, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
Africa DestubathonHi, thanks for your work so far! Can you do me a favour though and always add every entry you do to the main list here as well as the entries page, regardless if yet approved or not as that's the master list of all articles being done. It's just very time consuming for me to be judging the articles, trying to contribute myself and chasing up what people have done and filling it out for people each time. So if you can take care of that this would be a great help, there's some part filled out ones underneath so you just need to add country, article name and then your username. Thanks.♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:33, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
You haven't added HIV/AIDS in Zambia yet!♦ Dr. Blofeld 18:52, 18 October 2016 (UTC) Asian 10,000 Challenge inviteHi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 03:02, 21 October 2016 (UTC) Invitation from Wikipedia Asian Month 2016Your GA nomination of Copperbelt strike of 1935Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Copperbelt strike of 1935 you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. Congratulations on winning the contest, and earning $495 to boot. Excellent effort, and well-deserved because you targetted a lot of those first level big regions which I most wanted improved and did them enmasse!12:08, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

HelloHello, why did you remove content in Politics of Tamil Nadu? It looked to be fairly due weight, and was sourced. ThePlatypusofDoom (talk) 13:20, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
Collect your prizeHi, please carefully read the instructions at the bottom of Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon for collecting your prize. I will need you to send me an email, your wiki name, what I owe you and your preference for currency in dollars or pounds/country of residence.♦ Dr. Blofeld 14:42, 13 December 2016 (UTC) Hi, a slight miscalculation with $20 less than should have been for one contestant means than I went a little over budget. Is it OK if I send you $425 rather than $445 so the other prizes winners can get their small amounts?♦ Dr. Blofeld 17:00, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
