Why not check first, then welcomeIt's nice of you to welcome people to Wikipedia, but it would be a lot more useful if you first checked their contribution. Two examples: Arthur W Doty (talk · contribs) created a nonsense article which has now been CSD nominated, Amalfrncis (talk · contribs) made a blatant POV edit to an article. In both cases you could have caught these first contributions and left a more appropriate welcome message / warning. --Biker Biker (talk) 09:27, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
