Michael BuschI feel that the page Michael Busch should not have been moved to the minor league players list. It has plenty to good sources and more to come now that he is signed. This article has already passed inspection once and fits the criteria needed to be an independent page. If there is something needing to be added I would be happy to do it just please let me know. Thanks, UNC2 (talk) 14:49, 5 July 2019 (UTC) If you would please discuss this with me I would appreciate it.UNC2 (talk) 00:45, 7 July 2019 (UTC)

I believe that you have been involved in translation edits on the Rojos del Águila de Veracruz article. Previously, this article has lacked a consensus by edit on the English translation of the team name & has gone back & forth. There is now a discussion on the talk page for which I ask you to to concur or object. The current iteration seems reasonable to me. Please do not change the English translation of the name from this version until we have reached a consensus through discussion. You've suggested that the apostrophe isn't needed, but English punctuation is pretty clear that "team's" is correct: <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_possessive#Nouns_and_noun_phrases>. Including the fact that he was arrested for solicitation is questionable, but the mention of the prostitute’s gender only serves as aspersion, as innuendo regarding Stewart’s sexuality. I don't see any other reason inclusion of the prostitute's gender would be relevant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by New york art editor (talk • contribs) 17:40, 1 March 2018 (UTC)
89th Academy Awards PerformersAll performers who are officially part of the ceremony are to be listed under the Perfomers table, regardless of the intent of the performance. Just because Jimmy Kimmel was host doesn't mean that hosts don't also do performances during Oscar ceremonies. Billy Crystal always performed the opening number every time he hosted, and those performances always got Crystal listed in the Performers table in the articles about his Oscar ceremonies. Even Seth MacFarlane is listed as a performer in the article about the 85th Academy Awards, for the songs that he sang when he hosted, despite the fact that those performances were done just for laughs. What makes a box office bomb and was The Wizard of Oz one?Box office bomb defines poor performance during its theatrical run. Whether it becomes successful later isn’t part of that definition. To put it in another way, what defines a box office bomb is low performance and unprofitable during it’s theatrical run. Smaller or independent films don’t expect to be big box office hits, so making any profit would be a good they - and they won’t be considered a bomb. High expectations are usually at the heart of being considered a bomb. It used to be you could almost tell when a film wasn’t expected to do well, when advertising was high. As for The Wizard of Oz, it didn't turn a profit until a re-release in 1949. The shooting and promotional budget at the time was MGM’s highest ever, nearly 3 million dollars, a pittance when compared to today’s costs. But remember in 1939, the average ticket price was less than .25¢. Ten years later it was less than .40¢. Today’s movie ticket costs 20X what it did in 1939, and the cost of making making them, even greater. In 1939, the only other diversion to going to the movies, was reading or listening to the radio. Only New York had live performances (theater, bars and night clubs, sports) as other form of competitive entertainment dollars. We were still in the midst of emerging from the decade old Depression. So that I think it’s fairly clear that it initially bombed, so that’s a reasonable definition. It was ahead of its time, and it didn’t actually make money until a decade after its release.

If you don't mind my asking, why were the edits to 2018 National League West tie-breaker game reverted without comment? Surely MLB's branding for the game, reflecting its importance as such that they thought it needed a logo, is more illuminating than a four year old, unrelated picture of the stadium in which it took place? The stadium itself is linked a couple lines down in the Infobox. Thanks! SixFourThree (talk) 19:41, 2 October 2018 (UTC)SixFourThree Disambiguation link notification for October 8Hi.
