Incubator CleanupHello, Josh. I am an administrator on Wikimedia Incubator, and I'm trying to clean up some old tests. In particular, there are still remnants of those Babayin tests sitting there at incubator:Wp/tgl, incubator:Wt/tgl, and incubator:Wq/tgl. As far as I can tell, the two people who actually contributed to those tests are both pretty scarce these days, so you seem to me to be the best person to consult about this. In theory, projects rejected by the Language Committee can remain open on Incubator, can be improved, and can be submitted again. In practice, (a) these projects have not been edited in a meaningful way in several years, and (b) the impression I have from the discussions at Meta are that these will no way, no how, ever be approved. So under those circumstances, we would normally delete the projects on Incubator. There are a couple of options here:
So I wonder if you can tell me how you might like to handle this situation. There's no particular rush, and in particular I'm sure that if you actually want to create a new namespace, some community discussion will be needed. But if we can put closure on this one way or the other I'd greatly appreciate that. Thanks. StevenJ81 (talk) 16:46, 7 December 2016 (UTC)
Update 16 February 2017I never heard from you. So the Baybayin pages have been archived to an XML file and deleted from Incubator. If you (or anyone else) wants to make use of it, either within the Tagalog projects here or in a place like Incubator Plus, let me know. The survey should only take 5 minutes, and your individual response will not be made public. This survey will be integral for our team to determine how to better support administrators. To take the survey sign up here and we will send you a link to the form. We really appreciate your input! Please let us know if you wish to opt-out of all massmessage mailings from the Anti-harassment tools team. ArbCom 2017 election voter messageHello, Sky Harbor. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC) RequestI have submitted articles named State Bank of Pakistan Museum & Art Gallery, Archaeological Museum Umerkot and Archaeological Museum Banbhore to Wikipedia Asian Month. Now here is a problem that I have changed my username wisalahmad523 > Wisal Ahmad. So please merge all my submitted articles to Wisal Ahmad. Thanks! Wisal Ahmad (talk) 06:50, 11 December 2017 (UTC) Sky Harbor, we really need to hear back from you on this DYK nomination; it's been well over a month since your last post. In particular, you still haven't provided a quid pro quo review as required for someone who has as many DYK credits as you do, and the nomination cannot be approved without it, though it appears otherwise ready to run. Please post to let us know when you plan to do the QPQ review; if we don't hear from you soon, the nomination will probably be closed, which would be a shame after all this time. Many thanks. The fact was ... that the Rotonda de Sampaloc, now the Nagtahan Interchange (pictured), originally demarcated the boundary between Manila's suburbs and its urban core? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Nagtahan Interchange. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Nagtahan Interchange), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. User talk:Fantasticfears#"The article ... should be properly copyedited" The thing is that Rochelimit has made few edits which copy from somewhere. So we have decided to recheck copyright of every articles he submitted. You are also a organizer of this year, so please email me to get to the form so you can help the process. --Fantasticfears (talk) 20:36, 28 December 2017 (UTC) |
