Invitation to Admin confidence surveyHello, Beginning in September 2017, the Wikimedia Foundation Anti-harassment tool team will be conducting a survey to gauge how well tools, training, and information exists to assist English Wikipedia administrators in recognizing and mitigating things like sockpuppetry, vandalism, and harassment. The survey should only take 5 minutes, and your individual response will not be made public. This survey will be integral for our team to determine how to better support administrators. To take the survey sign up here and we will send you a link to the form. We really appreciate your input! Please let us know if you wish to opt-out of all massmessage mailings from the Anti-harassment tools team. It seems like DYKUpdateBot is down, as it's not updating the current queue. If you could restart the bot sometime soon at your earliest convenience, that would be great. Thanks so much! Please run the untranscluded DYK nomination templates listShubinator, I believe I'm aware of all those from prior to October, but I think some from last month were promoted and then pulled back, but WugBot deleted the transclusions (as it's supposed to do) after promotion, and the person who pulled the nomination back forgot (or didn't care) that they needed to retransclude the nomination template. I'd like to find those now and get them transcluded again; there should be a few of them at least. There's no immediate rush; please post the list here when it's ready and ping me, and I'll get to work on resurrecting them. Many thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 23:29, 5 November 2017 (UTC)
ArbCom 2017 election voter messageHello, Shubinator. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC) |
