DYKUpdateBot did not perform its scheduled 16:00, 3 March 2012 (UTC) update. If you get a chance, please take a look to see if there are any outstanding issues. --Allen3talk17:57, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Willow (the server DYKUpdateBot runs on) ran out of memory. Bot restarted. (Sorry for the delay, in the middle of hosting a multi-day event.) Shubinator (talk) 23:51, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Willow (the Toolserver server) got rebooted unexpectedly around 9 hours ago. Hopefully Toolserver maintenance this week will fix these issues... (Oh, and I've restarted both bots.) Shubinator (talk) 06:02, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
DYKcheck and page moves
DYKcheck appears to no longer detect moves from userspace. I assume this is because the format of the edit summary when making a move has changed. The edit summary used to be in the form "moved oldfilename to newfilename[: reason]" and now it's "Username moved page oldfilename to newfilename[: reason]". DYK reviewers often miss such moves, so DYKcheck pointing them out is quite useful. MANdARAX•XAЯAbИAM09:23, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
A DYK update was due 10 minutes ago, but the bot hasn't shown up yet. Can you kick it to make it happen? (Otherwise, we can do a manual update.) --Orlady (talk) 19:19, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
Thanks much! Your bot work is wonderful. I'm afraid we take it for granted until something stops working. --Orlady (talk) 19:50, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
Thanks :) Yeah, it's doing a good job of being an "invisible hand", and something goes wrong often enough that the regulars know the bot exists :P Shubinator (talk) 21:05, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
Hello Shubinator. I am currently conducting a study on the dispute resolution processes on the English Wikipedia, in the hope that the results will help improve these processes in the future. Whether you have used dispute resolution a little or a lot, now we need to know about your experience. The survey takes around five minutes, and the information you provide will not be shared with third parties other than to assist in analyzing the results of the survey. No personally identifiable information will be released.

Many thanks in advance for your comments and thoughts.
With this recent death of this native Milwaukeean, I found the impulse to create a stub about him irresistible. I hope you will have a look and help improve it, since you've worked on ICOS. There are several articles online about him, as well as an extensive oral history interview (not, alas, online). --Orange Mike | Talk14:57, 25 April 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for letting me know! I'd thought of creating the article before, but didn't find the time. I'll keep it on my radar :) Shubinator (talk) 15:45, 25 April 2012 (UTC)
