Hey Shubinator Questions?Hey Shuninator I'd already add a reference that is a third party. Can I ask you some question? 1st: My article GameClub has proposed for deletion because of it has no reference but i putted in already, how it will removed from deletion? 2nd: How can I make my article Special Force Online semi-protected so the article is not vandalized, last week many editors vandalized this and putted many hacking sites deleting important datas and replacing nonsense things like (Special force top 10 hackers, replacing the main logo with dxt gaming, replacing links with dxt gaming).????? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Majestic27 (talk • contribs) 08:35, 31 January 2010 (UTC)

Mayerson LawI work for the Law Firm. I own the images. They are mine, on any website, Wikipedia or mayersonlaw.com. I have every and all permissions to use them. Sorry I'm not some Wikipedia genius about this sort of thing. I just want the images on the page. If you can make this happen, that would be great. —Preceding unsigned comment added by PhillyPartTwo (talk • contribs) 23:03, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
DYK on Sallie Gardner at a GallopHi Shub, I've always looked at your opinions as very sensible stuff either negative or positive. That's why in light of this matter I would like to ask your opinion with regard to this DYK Nomination, which has been arguing the contents of Sallie Gardner at a Gallop and Eadweard Muybridge. We'll appreciate your inputs on this issue and I'd like to clear my perspective in this matter as well. I'd like to correct how I view articles should be created if in case I'm wrong. Thanks. --TitanOne (talk) 11:37, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
Web SlicesI'd like to solicit your opinion regarding adding "web slices" to the Wikipedia main page at Wikipedia:Village_pump_(technical)#Webslices_for_the_main_page.Smallman12q (talk) 15:04, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Semi-protecting Wikipedia talk:Did you knowPlease reconsider: talk pages are protected only in emergency. That talk is not a highly visible page and is the portal to communicate with the project; it has not been vandalized in my memory. Materialscientist (talk) 02:44, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
Iranian Space Agency ITN changeSeveral hours ago, you corrected the Iranian Space Agency item based on a report at WP:ERRORS. However, I had just made the exact opposite change hours prior to that. As my edit summary says, the version you changed it back to is incorrect because it sounds like we're saying the rocket returned to Earth unharmed. First, if we were talking about the rocket, we should probably say undamaged. Second, it's not really clear whether the rocket itself did return undamaged; I see that the animals returned in a capsule, but it's entirely possible that the "rocket" part was jettisoned away from the capsule, as there would have been little need for it beyond launch. Third, even if the rocket was recovered, the idea that a rocket would be completely undamaged is a bit improbable; surely some minor damage occurred. The intended meaning, obviously, is that the animals returned safely, unharmed. Perhaps the reader found the that a bit awkward, but the way you reworded the piece makes it incorrect. -- tariqabjotu 09:56, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Deletion of Gamesoft TechnologyUser:Teancum has proposed Gamesoft Technology for deletion. You said creating an article with article on it is enough for A7. Please explain why did User:Teancum put Gamesoft Technology here? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Majestic27 (talk • contribs) 15:04, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
Bug in DYKUpdateBot published code?Hi, I'm not a Java programmer, but I think I just found a bug in the published version of the code of DYKUpdateBot (talk · contribs), in // make sure the title corresponds to a real article
title = title.substring(0, 1).toUpperCase() + title.substring(1); // capitalize first letter
SimpleArticle article = new SimpleArticle(readContent(enBot, title));
if (article.getText() == "") { // if the article's been deleted, or otherwise nonexistent
logError("Article " + title + " does not exist");
continue;
}
// THE BUG IS IN THE LINE BELOW
if (article.getText().toLowerCase().trim().startsWith("#redirect") != -1) {
// don't want to tag the talk page of a redirect
This might lead to all talk pages being detected as redirects, with the talk page of the first link in the article detected as the target. I would think, however, that this error would be obvious when looking at the bot's contributions, and that in the version of the code you are running, this is not an issue. Just letting you know that the published code looks incorrect. PleaseStand (talk) 12:33, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
