Hello, Shreshth91/Archive2! This message is to inform you that round three of Wikipedia Mind Benders will open on Wednesday, September 21, at approximately 22:00 UTC. While the opening time may vary by two or three hours, the round will open no earlier than 22:00 UTC. In addition, there are several rule changes, which will be detailed when the round opens. Everyone who answers a question correctly will receive points, but speed does give some extra points! Round three offers 11 new exciting and mind-bogglind questions, written by Deryck C.. These promise to be lots of fun! We sincerely hope you join us.
Note: This message has been sent by Flcelloguy using the NotificationBot (thanks to AllyUnion for designing such a great bot!). If you do not wish to receive further messages regarding WP:MIND, please contact Flcelloguy. If there are any problems with the bot, please alert AllyUnion. Thanks!
I was actually referring to KeithD's use of letters in the answer, to get the answer of CIA before converting into digits. Sorry, but there were responses of 35 before you. Anyways, good luck with the next round! Deryck has implemented a few rule changes - everyone who answers correctly gets points! The first people to answer, though, do get some bonus points. Have fun! My RFA
Thank you very much for your vote on my RFA, it is now one of the most supported RFA ever, and it couldnt have happened without your vote. I look forward to serving wikipedia. Again, thanks. →Journalist>>talk<<16:16, 1 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Birthday cake
Hi, and please tell me about your preparations for the examinations. And, I forgot your birth date – so please treat this as my greetings and wishes for your birthday, as also for all days. I would love to send you a real treat, but for the time being, you will have to take the digital cake, which I am sending. Happy Birth Day!
The digital cake is small – you may increase the size depending on your appetite and the friends around you. By the way, I kept one cake exclusively for me, after all I am selfish, and for hours I am on wiki, and was feeling hungry. So I am going to enjoy the cake. You too enjoy the same, with your friends. --Bhadani17:51, 1 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for to delay in the response, but my wikitime has been cut drastically. Some queries:
Hi Shreshth, just saw your edit on the above. I agree in principle with your edit as it is a more representative title of the page it links to. However, this edit has increased the width of the template and looks odd on pages it is used. Would you consider a revert or a change in the title or inserting breaks so that it is spread over 2 lines? Pl. reply on my talkpage. Thanks, --Gurubrahma06:09, 13 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. best of luck for your exams and happy birthday whenever it may be. I'll try to make some changes to the text, but it'll have to be only by next week. Since I'm mostly inactive these days, and you finish your exams before Diwali, how about if we try and FAC it after Diwali? =Nichalp«Talk»=14:38, 14 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
hi, I hope I am not very late – happy birth day to you. And, few chocolates for you and your friends. Have a nice time. And, all the best for your examinations. --Bhadani08:20, 15 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

for the WELCOME message. I am visiting only from time to time the WP in the English edition. I have been active in the German WP, but finished this because of the sometimes very bothering discussions. Kindly excuse my rough German English. Kind regards --Pm16:33, 21 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Who do you think you are, Pharos? What sort of name is that anyway? Is it your pastime to spend countless hours here trying to remove so caled slander? If so, I suggest that you look for the closest window, and throw yourself through it. You must lead such an invigorating life you homosexualy diseased cunt.
I've removed the cleanup tag that you added to David Beckham, as I think the article's above average now. If you still think there are problems with it, please let me know. CTOAGN19:42, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
AFD
I've seen you comment twice about how someone shouldn't afd something they don't understand. I beg to differ. I think it's better to get community input on it rather than leaving something that can possibly be a deletion candidate lie around. However, such nominators should stick around to change their vote if things have been clarified to them. - Mgm|(talk)21:07, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
David Beckham
Glad you like the article now. I don't think finding pictures will be easy though; it's usually very difficult to get pictures of current celebrities that have an acceptable copyright status (people are getting really strict about this at the moment). If you know of any that meet Wikipedia's copyright guidelines, please tell me about them. Thanks, File:Yemen flag large.pngCTOAGN (talk) 00:47, 28 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. I noticed that your welcome message is leaving a "please do not edit this page" message in the source of new users' talk pages, e.g. [1], [2]. This could be extremely confusing for them. Indium09:09, 30 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Philosophy
I think you're right. I thought of that after I deleted it. At first, I thought it was simply directing back to itself. Great catch! The Force really was with you. :) - Lucky 6.905:58, 31 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Concerns
Not to worry. I'm OK. There's a criterion which states that extremely short articles with little or no content can be deleted on sight. We are flooded with these sorts of "non-articles" on a daily basis, most of which are single, incomplete sentences. Also, AfD is so overloaded as to be almost ridiculous. Certain things can and should go there. The nice thing about the speedy deletion criterion is that it keeps AfD from getting worse. - Lucky 6.907:05, 31 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the message, it's great, really.
I'm really glad to have someone to talk about because I didn't know where to start. Like I do know how to make images and stuff but not many advance stuffs. I can see that you are really into Starwars (I'm not a fan of it but I still like to watch it again and again and again, 7 times for the final episode already). I'm into X-men (and Marvel comics), Cartoon Network and chemistry. (And maybe online games).
Once again, thank you and have good day and good night sleep.

Hey..Thanks for the wishes. Wish you a happy and fun Diwali. Here's something for you:
Hi Shreshth! Thanks for the welcome. I've been wandering around fixing grammar and spelling mistakes and marvelling at the sheer volume of information that exists here. I'm glad to finally meet a real Wikipedian. Cheers! Rudder19:42, 8 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
AFD closure
I've seen you close a few AFDs with very little votes as no consensus. Could I pursuade you to relist such low activity debates for a few more comments in the future? - Mgm|(talk)11:00, 10 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
If you close a keep/no consensus debate, please remove the afd tag from the article and add a note of the result with a link to the debate on the talk page. (There is a template for that). Also, please take note who made a vote when counting and don't just go with the raw numbers. When I discount votes without any reason attached and the ones by anons/new users who don't know policy I come to a 2keep/3 delete. It's still a no consensus, but such changes in numbers can make a difference. - Mgm|(talk)11:28, 10 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Shreshta, why do u edit my link to qazi's OFFICIAL FANZ website.
Do u know this website is already known to qazi and not just that.
we are going to organize to sell caps , T-SHIRTS AND KEYCHAINS AND ALBUMS ALSO AT NOMINAL PRICES , WHICH WILL BE AUTOGRAPHED BY QAZI HIMSELF !!
NOW PLEASE ALLOW ME TO ADD MY EDIT TO FAME GURUKUL AND QAZI TOUQEER ARTICLE
PLEASE E-MAIL ME ALSO AT fgqazi@fgqazi.50webs.com and also at fgqazi@yahoo.com
I've commented on PR. The text will have to be rewritten. I've made a rough draft here: User:Nichalp/sandbox. See how I've sectioned the topics. It has more prose and less list. I need you to carry on with this in the same manner. (Plz don't edit in my sandbox). After you take care of this we'll hunt for images. =Nichalp«Talk»=13:17, 13 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Merci beaucoup
Hi, Shreshth91! Thanks for your vote of support on my nomination to become an administrator. I passed, and my floor rag has since been bestowed upon me. Please let me know if you need me to help with anything in particular! —BrianSmithson16:59, 12 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Shreshth91 I read the Wikipedia:Sock puppet entry, and I don't believe my Everything2 user qualifies as a sock puppet. I created the Everything2 account with the goal of using it to experiment with the idea of taking content from Everything2 and putting it on wikipedia, or vice versa. Anything I added to wikipedia from Everything2 I planned to add as subpages of the Everything2 user. That seems to me to qualify the Everything2 user as a legitimate use for an additional account. Correct me if I'm wrong? -MathiasTCK 12:34 November 14th 2005
I started with VfD and still use it as the shortcut half the time along with vt and vb... Good to use up-to-date syntax of course, but does it actually affect anything? Do they generate different templates? Marskell13:40, 19 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Personally, I thought the VfD change was needless. "If it ain't broke..." and all that. However, with the change made perhaps the v-templates should be deleted. Marskell13:48, 19 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to thank you for supporting me on my RfA. It closed with the final tally of 57/0/0. I can only hope I can live up to the expectations that this wonderful community of ours demands from each of its administrators. If you ever need anything, please just let me know. Cheers! -- Ianblair23(talk)03:06, 22 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. Round four of Wikipedia Mind Benders will open on Thursday, December 1. This round will be drastically different from round three; part one will consist of a creative project, and part two will be developed from there. The full details will be released when the round opens. Time and speed should not be major factors in this round; thus, there is no exact opening time for the round as speed will not factor into the scoring. Thanks! Flcelloguy (A note?) 22:49, 22 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
P.S. Please add Wikipedia:Mind Benders/to do to your watchlist to receive further announcements; the NotificationBot is currently down and all notifications will be placed on that page. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Should I go ahead an "usefy" the template? Or does it have to go through deletion procedures? Not sure how such things work. No sence in making people nervious about encouraging trolls 5 months ahead of time. JeffBurdges12:20, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I have expanded the article talking about the Budweiser advertising campaign and the hit songs based around the phrase. I would be grateful if you could take a look. Capitalistroadster17:02, 23 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I wanted to say thank you for your support on my RFA, I've been made an admin, and whilst I feel a little nervous and in awe of all this, I hope I fulfill people's expectations of me and the role. Ta! Steve blocktalk09:45, 25 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
