Shreshth91, I removed this from the mainpage, as it may create confusion - it indicates that anyone can add them, which may lead to doubling up. Not to mention some of them require some experience to use (paramters {{{1}}} etc.), which new users who don't understand the set-up may not understand. If a new spammer takes my place, maybe that is when we can give the link, but leaving it on the main WP:ESP/UPA page is asking for trouble. Done the latest round of spamming, by the way. This is odd. Earlier today, it wasn't working on my screen at 100px, but appeared fine at 105px or 101px. Now it's not working at any dimensions. I've reverted it back to your version. Hi Shreshth. I can't see the picture too. There is something wrong. I checked the history of T:DYK, and I cannot see the picture in the previous versions too. I checked with IE, and it shows a blank space with the red 'x' sign at the top on the main page, but when I open the image separately in a window, it looks fine. - Aksi_great (talk) 14:49, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Shreshth - thanks for your input. I will answer point by point:
"Jawwad Ali Khan" was like a royal name. Notable examples include Shaista Khan and Islam Khan. I've added this mention[1]
I'm afraid I couldn't find any Urdu translations of those titles. I could suggest catching hold of someone who knows Urdu or digging up the words in a dictionary yourself, but I would avoid that in case you somehow come up with an altered translation/meaning, which would violate WP:OR.
Yes the Mutiny booklet was his most famous work[2].
Muslim political power in India is minimal - your POV. The statement you mention asserts that Sir Syed helped create a Muslim political class. Before he did, there were no Muslim politicians/leaders, but his work helped create Muslim political bodies and leaders, whose mission was to secure Muslim power. Also, Sir Syed's life is quite far apart from partition, which was first asserted by Iqbal in 1930. Its not correct to make the assumption that he wanted partition, but it is true that he saw Muslims as a separate cultural, political group.
When I started my second editor review, I had no idea how greatly helpful it would be to me. Here are people from across the world who I've never met or laid eyes upon, taking their personal time to think about me and offer me valuable criticism and advice. And the stuff I've learnt is more helpful in real life than just on Wikipedia. This is an experiment I will never forget. Hello Shreshth. I really like the three quotes you have there, but I couldn't help but notice that you have changed it. About three weeks ago it was differant. Admin Coaching, now being coordinated by HighwayCello, is a program for people who want help learning some of the more subtle aspects of Wikipedia policy and culture. People are matched with experienced users who are willing to offer coaching. The program is designed for people who have figured out the basics of editing articles; they're not newcomers any more, but they might want some help in learning new roles. In this way, Esperanza would help keep hope alive for Wikipedia because we would always be grooming the next generation of admins.

The Tutorial Drive is a new Esperanza program! In an effort to make complicated processes on Wikipedia easier for everyone, Esperanza working to create and compile a list of tutorials about processes here on Wikipedia. Consider writing one!

Abt an article
Immigration in Bhutan deals with issues relating to the ethnic communities of Nepal. The factual presentation of the article are inaccurate at places UNHCR states that Lhotsampas have been staying in Bhutan from 19th century whereas the article states it to be of 20th century.
After the recent revolution of Nepal, the ethnic communities have suddenly waken up from their peaceful dormant state to an aggressive form which can be attributed to some extent to the armed conflict of Maoists. The ethnic communities share feeling of kinship with the people who are "refugees" now. The tolerant nature of these ethnic groups had to a large extent prevented any ethnic clashed between the ethnic groups of Nepal and Druks. The article is biased and statements like
While the intent of the policy was benign and inclusive, the government not totally unreasonably, implied that the 'culture' to be preserved would be that of the northern Bhutanese. This policy therefore required citizens to wear the attire of the northern Bhutanese in public places and reinforced the status of Dzongkha as the national language. Nepali was discontinued as a subject in the schools thus bringing it at par with the status of the other languages of Bhutan, none of which are taught. Such policies were criticized at first by human rights groups as well as Bhutan's Nepalese economic migrant community, who perceived the policy to be directed against them. The Nepali immigrants claim that the Bhutanese are clinging to power at the expense of human rights, pluralism, and democratic principles. However many in Bhutan see the ethnic Nepali immigrants’ cry for pluralism and democracy as just an excuse to overwhelm and take over a lightly populated Bhutan through unrestricted immigration.

Some of the organizers of the marches were arrested and detained. However the Bhutanese government later released most of them. Those with ties to the groups responsible for the murders and kidnappings were forced to leave, but unfortunately many other innocent ethnic-Nepali citizens were coerced to leave by the angry ethnic-Nepali dissidents.

Considering the ethnic clashes, which are omnipresent in South Asia resulting poorly written and nonneutral articles like this, I propose that this article is either rewritten with a neutral point of view with references/source from United Nations and other such respeced global entities rather than some pro-Druk or pro-Lhotsampa or be deleted and kept in a deleted state till neutral point of view is established. I also would like to request the use of Lhotsampa rather than Nepali if this article is rewritten because the Bhutanese refugees are not Nepalese citizens. your complaint about my error report
Yes, I understand Wikipedia philosophy, thanks. Nonetheless when you click on the "edit" tab it takes you to a different page than the "article" page. I would be more annoyed, but the problem has been fixed. FYI: there are exceptions. Critical pages (Main Page, featured articles...) and pages under dispute are often locked for editing from the general Wikipedia community. I certainly can't edit the Main Page, or I would have simply done so rather than complaining about it in the errors page.--Zachbe17:25, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
