Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of fictional religions, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Alternately, if the religion had a standalone article or even a significant section within an article in which it was discussed, with sources, that might be acceptable.DonIago (talk) 13:43, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your note
Thanks for the message you left on my talk page. Almost all Trump related pages have been page protected so that only experienced editors can directly edit them. Best regards... -Ad Orientem (talk) 01:40, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Shovel Shenanigans, Twinkle is a very powerful editing tool that is not intended for new editors. Please do not try to use it until you have several hundred edits. This was not good advice to give to an editor who has just been editing for two weeks. It could get you into more trouble than you will want to deal with. Just stick with learning about Wikipedia policies and guidelines through improving articles. Thank you. LizRead!Talk!08:46, 6 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't mean to be discouraging, Shovel Shenanigans, but it's also not a wise idea for an editor with just 102 edits to go to WP:ANI and try to explain policies to editors that have been working on the project for 5, 10, 15, even 20 years. They understand all about the impropriety of personal attacks. I get that you are enthusiastic about editing here but please stick with improving articles, maybe some anti-vandalism work or crafting draft articles before participating in conduct discussions on administrators' noticeboards. Thank you. LizRead!Talk!02:49, 10 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also, i did not intend to have that reply for any other than scuba (and probably LL85). When I pressed the little reply button on their comment, I expected it to appear just below that comment, not at the bottom of the thread. Either way, I'll still keep this in mind. Hi Shovel Shenanigans. Following your Teahouse thread about signatures, I thought I'd continue here to give you a full set of instructions, in case you want to follow up on my suggestion. First, you have to create the page User:Shovel_Shenanigans/common.css which is currently a redlink as it does not exist. Create it by clicking on that link. That's where you need to paste the lines of content, which you can copy from my own page at User:Michael D. Turnbull/common.css: a blue link as it does exist. Each row of code is independent and does something different. The first line .mw-redirect {color: green;} will convert links that go to redirect pages from their default blue to green, which I find useful. The second line is the one which changes the way that you, and only you, will see your signature. That may be the only line you need at present, with your username replacing mine in the code. Lines 3-5 do things I find useful but you can ignore. I hope this helps! Mike Turnbull (talk) 12:22, 20 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I will be keeping this here for now, while removing other further troutings, since this is evidence of a (weak) personal attack, in case I need to bring this to admins.

It's not vandalism, as I explained in a previous reply. Now, your personal attacks on me, and the wikipedia community's personal attacks and bullying of me at a time when my human rights are being denied and violated and I'm being obscenely and cruelly tortured is the real crime, Shovel. 49.186.224.25 (talk) 13:31, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Furthermore, "Shovel", naturally, I don't know you and I know zero information about you so any absurd claims of "personal attacks" is false - unlike YOUR personal attacks against me and the wikipedians. 49.186.224.25 (talk) 13:59, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You are still a very new editor though I can see that you are really building up some good editing experience which is great. But I wanted to just warn you that if you set yourself up as fighting vandalism, you can expect particularly persistent trolls to bite back. Most vandals are just bored and move on after they are reverted but as you experienced recently, some will come to your User talk page and try to annoy you. I know that this is not fair and I'm not saying that you have to put up with it. I'm just saying that you shouldn't be surprised when it starts happening to you. If it gets bad, we can semi-protect your User talk page but the best attitude is just to revert the edits and DENY. And it's a waste of time to argue with a troll.
If you find this too irritating, you can always go to the Teahouse and ask for advice there. I'm sure at the Teahouse there are some very experienced vandalism fighers and editors who handle NPP (New Page Patrol) who also can face unwanted attention. At least this editor won't be bothering you for a while and hopefully if they come back, they will have moved on. Thank you for all of your contributions to the project! LizRead!Talk!05:21, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have definitely been expecting a troll to appear sooner rather than later (frankly, surprised it took so long). For the future, I won't interact beyond warnings and other necessary comments. I sincerely appreciate your advice.
I don't regret my decision to (mostly) dedicate my account to vandalism clean-up, since I don't know diddly-dip about squiddly-squat when it comes to most topics. Shovel Shenanigans (talk) 05:32, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Trust me, it will get worse. It's crazy how one vandal can be so persistent as stalking me at Wikimedia and spam slurs at my talk page, even create accounts with my name XD. It's annoying, but I usually scoff at their foolishness and move on. I hope you do too! 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥(ContainThisEmber?)14:03, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I must say, I love the little song/poem on your userpage. As a fellow writer, it was very emotive, visually pleasing, and rolled off the tongue very well. The use of colored text was also very interesting! Shovel Shenanigans (talk) 16:50, 24 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Shovel Shenanigans! The thread you created at the Teahouse, Wikipedia Timezone, has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days.
Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.
You have been trouted for: I am impulsive and wanted to click on the trout for no actual reason. I like your username though, its very cool! I hope this is not annoying... I wont do this again, dont worry. Ilikememes128 (talk) 01:00, 21 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
