SorryIt seems I tuned out of the discussion and missed the developments, having been caught up with the Aitias arbitration request. I did take a look at it earlier today and was thinking of proposing a voluntary wiki-contract, as with Abtract and Sesshomaru in the early stages. However, as Collectonian refused to participate in it last time, and as I felt that DreamFocus would not agree to anything, it seemed pointless. I agree; RfC/U would be the better venue. Hi I noticed you were the one who succesfully nominated this list at FLC. I am planning to take it to WP:FLRC because, due to the dead links, so much of the list is unsourced. I marked the deadlinks back in January and forgot all about the list, until I noticed the latest cleanup listings. I just wanted to check that it is okay for me to nominate this. If you think you can fix it up a bit (find replacements for the dead links etc.), let me know and I will hold off nominating it for removal. Best wishes, Rambo's Revenge (How am I doing?) 13:10, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
Well, you have to remember that that is a very quick list of pages that I am concerned about. I am only including very short lists (like the FLCL one), potential merges (like the THOH one) and articles more out of curiosity than anything. I figured that since I'm going through all FLs, I'd add them and see how many there are. The ones I am most conerned about (and will try to delist) are what I have labelled "Type A" (the content forks) although some of the duplicate lists and some of the ones that most fail WP:WIAFL will likely end up at FLRC some day too. I suppose I mis-categorized the two Oscar lists. They do seem a tad trivial and seem more suited to the Oscar website, but there is no place they could easily be merged. I'm also curious about what you think of all this, and my rather rambling confession. It will be hard going, but I would like to try to clean the process up as much as possible, and your help would be very appreciated. -- Scorpion0422 23:41, 20 March 2009 (UTC) An FLRC questionJust out of interest what is the procedure for merging FLs. For example, a consensus is forming to merge some FLs here, however one of those lists is also at FLRC. Basically do FLs have to be delisted before they can be merged? If not and they are turned into redirects is there some form of cascading delist, update FL stats etc. procedure or do I notify someone (you?). Thanks, Rambo's Revenge (How am I doing?) 21:34, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Do you think another delegate should be appointed? I've always liked the idea of having two, that way one can review and the other can close and there are other advantages (two opinions, less of a hassle if one delegate goes away, etc.). I was thinking maybe The Rambling Man could take the spot if he was interested. -- Scorpion0422 16:30, 22 March 2009 (UTC) Bleach episode listHey, I just noticed that in December, someone removed the translated titles from the Bleach season lists[1], but I can't find any discussion nor consensus to support why this was done? If this passes, there will be quite a few FLs (my estimate is somewhere between 50 and 75) that could soon be delisted just because of 3b. With that in mind, I'd like to get comments and opinions from all FLC regulars and everyone else who has participated in the discussion before it's implemented. Mr.Grave againRemember User:Mr.Grave from issues with some other character lists, like List of Kuroshitsuji characters among others. He refused to use edit summaries, refused to discuss anything, kept adding OR and excessive plot, etc and generally just being contentious and disruptive. He is now pulling the same mess at List of The Pretender characters, trying to undo the character organization, add OR etc. I've had to revert him several times in the last week, and now he's just plain out trying to edit war and as this point I'm considering him a vandal as his edits are reverting the recent clean up of that list (which took me hours). As the lead coordinator, I look forward to helping set an agenda for the WikiProject for this term and beyond, and I hope that you will actively participate in working through our agenda's objectives. I ask you to take a moment and review the goals of WikiProject Films (listed on the WikiProject's front page and reiterated here):
Since you have stepped forward to take on the responsibilities of the coordinator position, my expectations are for you to play an active role in most coordinator-related discussions and to bring new ideas to the circle whenever possible. Since all seven of us will collaborate in discussions, I ask you to take a moment and leave a comment here about your background as an editor (I provided my own background). Do you read Jimbo's statement about a Zebra being a Zebra, and you didn't need someone to tell you that? Did you see the link to the people in the Battlestar Galactica season finale page arguing that needed a reference for every single statement in an article? If you mentioned what type of dog Lassie was, but no reviews existed confirming what type of dog it was, would you not be able to do that? If the plot of something involves the main character driving a certain type of car, but no one in the episode or in any reviews refer to that type of car by name, can you still call it that? If everyone can look up a picture of it, and confirm without any reasonable doubt that it is that car type, then should you still need to have a verifiable reference to a third party media source for it? Some people believe so. We need to make the policy clearer to avoid problems. Dream Focus 01:14, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

Featured listsI think the list review process is seriously flawed and should be rethought. My experience, after now having a featured article and a featured list delisted is that I am totally uninspired to ever put any more effort into creating or maintaining featured lists and articles. The process is counter to the spirit of cooperation, and to incremental improvements that are an inherent part of the wiki process. Delisting the list of longest suspension bridge spans is pointless. It is way better than it was when it was first featured, and has become THE BEST source of this information on the internet, if not the entire planet. I addressed all the serious problems with the list, and what is left to improve is very minor if not a matter of taste. This process is helping make Wikipedia a very unfriendly, uncooperative, rigid minded place. -- ☑ SamuelWantman 23:53, 19 April 2009 (UTC)

Delivered by SoxBot (talk) at 12:14, 16 June 2009 (UTC) Your opinion is requestedHello, Sephiroth BCR. I have recently been involved with matters involving a problematic editor who uses sockpuppet accounts. He has formerly used the name Dr90s, and you were actually the first admin to have blocked him for socking in June 2008. Since then he has returned again and again to his old haunts, and has created huge disruption at the articles he has targeted. Unfortunately, apart from banning his new sockpuppet accounts again and again through WP:SPI, there is little that can be done. Recently I have filed a report at AN/I asking for guidance in the matter and requesting new ideas for ways to control or contain this problem. One admin, User:Tanthalas39, has agreed to be the go-to admin for problems concerning Dr90s and his sockpuppets. However, this solution is contingent upon agreement from both admins and non-admins. I have struggled with the idea of contacting people directly on the issue because I take WP:CANVAS seriously and I wish to avoid any appearance of impropriety. Nevertheless, I believe I cannot be accused of votestacking in this matter because the issue is what can be done to stop a disruptive and repeatedly-blocked sockpuppet master. As such there is no reasonable non-partisan position that would support the abandonment of the whole matter. The problem has already been identified and acknowledged, and all that remains is to decide the best course of action from this point forward. As an admin editor who has some familiarity with this puppetmaster, I believe your comments would be well-received, and I would greatly appreciate it if you could leave a brief comment either in support or in dissent of the current solutions in discussion at WP:Administrators' noticeboard/IncidentArchive546#A campaign of systematic vandalism (User:Dr90s and puppets). Claymore mangaI'm interested in helping with Claymore manga, and I saw that I think anyone could become a collaborator for it. I'm new to wikipedia, and I hardly know how to use it at all. I'm not very computer, computer programming, or using this wikipedia's programing language literate. I can barely use or do things on wikipedia. But, I love Claymore and am doing a lot of research on it personally, so I can provide a lot of help for it. Though maybe some one else could than add it to wikipedia for me, since I don't really know many of the wikipedia commands or its other programing language stuff. I have tried to briefly try to learn, but it seems so overwhelming, being so new to it, I gave up after a bit. I can press the edit, and than look at the commands of the other writings people done and do the same, which has allowed me to just be able to add my writing, but that is it for my ability to use wikipedia. I have also recently (well a litte time back) just learned about the ~.~.~.~ command, though I still have trouble remembering to do it, grr. I always have to edit what I wrote-posted and add it in. I (usally) never remember to add it the first time I write my post. This is from the discussion page for the main page of the Claymore manga on this site: "This article is currently part of a topic collaboration at the topic workshop of WP:ANIME. Those interested in contributing are free to sign up under the "collaborators" section. Cheers, sephiroth bcr (converse) 21:07, 21 September 2008 (UTC) -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Claymore_(manga)" anyways, sorry for posting here, but I couldn't find the "colaborators" section. But, I pressed your converse link and posted here, instead. If I can be a collaborator and help with Claymore manga, and get any help or assistance, I'd be greatful. I'll probably only be providing info about Claymore though, since being able to use wikipedia and it's language commands well, won't be happening anytime soon for me. The Video games project has created a member list to provide a clearer picture of its active membership. All members have currently been placed in the "Inactive" section by default. Please remove your username from the "Inactive" listing and place it under the "Active" listing if you plan on regularly:
Ideally, members are encouraged to do both, but either one meets our criteria of inclusion. Members still listed inactive at the beginning of November 2009 may be removed. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you. Spamming in K-Lite Codec Pack, QuickTime Alternative and Real AlternativeAdministrator Sephiroth BCR, Greeting. We seem to need your help with an edit war going on in K-Lite Codec Pack, QuickTime Alternative and Real Alternative articles. User:SoftwareGuide is persistently adding misinformation to these articles regarding the official web site and version information of the subjects of these articles, ignoring our notice to stop this. (He is constantly blanking his talk page too.) I am under the impression that the person behind this user account (User:SoftwareGuide) is also the same person behind User:V3589yvj (Contributions), User:VersionMaster (Contributions and two other IP Addresses but I have no concrete proof — It's just guess from their contribution log. Would you kindly attend to the matter? Regards, Fleet Command (talk) 19:39, 29 September 2009 (UTC) The Wikipedia Signpost: 28 September 2009

I apologizeGreetings, Administrator Sephiroth BCR I apologize. I am sorry for my past behavior. Please forgive me. I understand that my past behavior have never been appropriate. I believe there are many other better-mannered people out there on the Internet with the user name "Fleet Command" to whom I am a disgrace. I promise I'll evaluate and improve my method of conduct.
