Because you are a new editor, people will cut you some slack but you should not be nominating articles for deletion after a week's experience editing on Wikipedia. Work on improving content, providing references, copyediting, that is, improving articles which will give you a better basis to judge whether or an article should be nominated for deletion. Greetings. I noticed the merge tags that you just added here and here. First, I think you're unlikely to get anywhere with the proposal, because one of the articles is about a city, and the other about the human rights abuses in the prison; there is even a third article about the prison, Abu Ghraib prison, which you seem to have missed. Additionally, if you want to go ahead with the proposal, you need to create a discussion on one of the talk pages, where you explain why the articles should be merged; otherwise, as per the instructions for the template, anybody can remove them. - Well, you should still create a discussion where you explain your rationale; and even if it is the prison, you are highly unlikely to get consensus for such a merger, because the prison and the human rights abuses are quite distinct topics.
