Help please.Hi. I am Jivesh. I edit strictly Beyonce-related articles on Wikipedia. I was wondering if you could do a copy-edit of 1+1 (song) for me? Please reply on my talk-page. Waiting in anticipation. Jivesh • Talk2Me 10:07, 6 September 2011 (UTC)

Interview with Wikimedia FoundationHi Eric. I hope you are well. My name is Matthew and I'm working on the 2011 fundraiser for the Wikimedia Foundation. In past years, we've relied pretty heavily on the Jimmy Wales banners to raise money. While they've been successful, we know he alone doesn't represent the broad range of people who make the Wikipedia projects so important and this year we're pushing hard to include more of the community. We'd love to hear your thoughts on Wikipedia if you're interested. Please let me know by emailing mroth@wikimedia.org. FYI, you were recommended to me by Figureskatingfan, who said you were a big influence and great resource. Best wishes, Matthew (WMF) 23:03, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
Uploading mediaI need to ask a question about uploading media. I want to scan and upload a number of pictures found in an autobiography that I am reading, most of which are between 10-30 years old. Some of the pictures are included with clear attributions of the pictures' copyright ownership (i.e. STR/AFP/Getty Images), and are clearly not free-use, but many pictures are included without attribution. I can't find a page in the book that discusses the pictures' ownership in more detail. Is there a clear rule for how to interpret the applicable copyright ownership of non-attributed pictures found in nonfiction books? Can I assume that non-attributed pictures are in the public domain? Should I contact the publisher, and ask them directly? What is the common precedent on Wikipedia for making interpretations of ownership for unsourced print images?Ferox Seneca (talk) 03:09, 20 September 2011 (UTC)

Need peer review on language learning through literatureI've written an article about Literature Circles in EFL 'English as a Foreign Language', teacher accompanied classroom discussion groups among EFL learners, who regularly get together in class to speak about and share their ideas, and comment on others' interpretations about the previously determined section of a graded reader in English. I'm wondering if you would have time to peer-review. (Osmanbedel (talk) 17:37, 27 September 2011 (UTC))

Your good faith reformatting of Jane Eyre....removed virtually all content from the article. You're obviously a very skilled editor. Please try again.--WickerGuy (talk) 16:55, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
N'awwDearest Scartol, I hear you've been talkin' 'bout me. Too kind, too kind. I'm not sure if they want nearly-semi-almost retired editors to talk about how aw3some Wiki is, but I'll likely give it a go. So if my goofy face ends up on the Foundation's website, I'll have your vote of confidence to thank! :) María (habla conmigo) 12:46, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
I haven't had the interview yet, I only just confirmed that I wouldn't mind doing it. I've been relatively quiet on the Wiki front for months, so I fear all of my pearls of wisdom will be past tense and outdated. Oh, but I can remissness about the good old days! Speaking of, I recently filled out a Women in Wiki survey in which I got to rehash when a sockpuppet vandalized my userpage to call me something that rhymes with "spic bunt". I am so obviously prime survey material. And srsly, Jane Eyre? You brave man. María (habla conmigo) 15:22, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
