BOZ (talk) 19:28, 1 May 2009 (UTC) Review of The Last CastleI posted the above article for review for the second time before a GA nomination. I really worked a lot on the article but again and again people advise me not to post for GA nomination before a thorough copy-edit. Because my first language isn't English I have sometimes trouble phrasing a sentence the best way. Currently as the article stands I don't see what's holding it from GA (probably because I'm the one who added most info with my bad grammar). So could u please take a look at the article and give me advice on Wikipedia:Peer review/The Last Castle/archive2 or doing what you see necessary? Thanks for listening. :) --Diaa abdelmoneim (talk) 21:00, 1 May 2009 (UTC) Hi, I have listed teh above for peer review at WP:WikiProject Biography/Peer review/Harold Pinter and would be grateful for input. Any advise?I'm reworking the wording of part of the Emma Goldman article and I can't decide between the following two wordings:
Any opinion on the matter? Kaldari (talk) 19:00, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
Planescape: TormentSince your excellent copyedit of Ravenloft (module), I was wondering if you could take a look at Planescape: Torment, another D&D article which is currently at FAC. It would be much appreciated; thanks! –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 16:54, 7 May 2009 (UTC) ApologiesI missed your note "way up there" on my talk page - best to start a new section than maroon yourself in April posts! :) Awadewit (talk) 02:59, 10 May 2009 (UTC) Look over of Battle of BarnetHi Scartol! Fret not! I am not here for a copyedit, although I do have a favour to ask of thee. Could you take a gander over Battle of Barnet and point out if I still have outstanding problems to work over or if I can bring it over to the FAC for battle? Thank you. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 02:04, 14 May 2009 (UTC) Your Template TutorialI have completed your template tutorial but I am still not clear with the #switch: function you explained about. Can you please elaborate it on my talk page? Thank you, hope I wasn't troublesome! Srinivas G Phani 11:58, 15 May 2009 (UTC) Thank YouThank you, Scartol, for your template tutorial and your comment on my user talk. Unfortumately, I was searching for parser functions from nearly a month. I couldn't understand the parser help and at last I found your tutorial through The New Mikememorial's user page. I thought it would surely have parser functions in detail but Alas! it wasn't there! Anyhow thank you. And thank you that you are happy with my ambition to eradicate poverty. Srinivas G Phani 15:46, 15 May 2009 (UTC) You're welcome to do a peer review when you have time. Thank you! --Лъчезар (talk) 08:09, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

The code is beyond me, which is why when I see one I like, I swipe. But I was able to take your idea and make it work, as you see. And speaking of tables, what do you think of the table over at the MemChu article? I hate it; it makes my pretty little article ugly. An article about a pretty building shouldn't be ugly, ya know? I think the solution is to create a new article, and Erp agrees, as per our discussion. Would you mind weighing in? I've pretty much convinced myself that this needs to happen. (Hello, DYK!) Oh, and congrats about Cousin Bette. --Christine (talk) 04:54, 20 May 2009 (UTC) Scar, where are you, dude?! I asked Awadewit, and she disagreed about creating a new article. She suggested that we format the tables better. I was able to figure out the mosaics table, but the windows one is so over my head. I think we should nest them, and I can't figure it out. Help!! Could you please go there and fix? --Christine (talk) 00:00, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

I should be placing wine and fine paper gifts at your door. But I took on a song article at What'd I Say (song) and I would like to place two sound bite files in it with 30-second snippets of the stuff the article addresses. I downloaded Audacity at home, but I can't get it to play the song right in mp3 or ogg file. If I can't do that, I can't cut the song apart and do fade-outs and stuff. You have some experience with sound files, yes? I asked User:Filll as well, but it's not fixed and stuff. Any tips? --Moni3 (talk) 20:34, 27 May 2009 (UTC) Another main page day for Scartol! I had not read your shrine to BAAAAAAAAAAALLLZAC page before. I had no idea you used to work at Book Gallery West. It is the more expensive of the stores where I buy used books on Florida, Kingsley Plantation, Harvey Milk, history by Lillian Faderman...and I saw some NASCAR themed Harlequin Romance novels there a few months ago. They were hypnotic in awfulness. BGW is my last resort if I can't buy it supercheap from Amazon. (I shoot for a penny per book there.) I recently discovered Double Play a book about Moscone-Milk assassinations had appreciated a ridiculous amount. I bought it used last September from Amazon for like $3.50. Now the same used book is worth $58. Random blatherings over now. --Moni3 (talk) 18:04, 28 May 2009 (UTC) La Peau de ChagrinHello, I noticed that you removed my translation from La Peau de Chagrin. Do you think it could be put back in by using ref tags so that the translation shows up as an endnote? The only thing you'd see in the lead would be a tiny number. You answered my question about how Valentin obtains the skin with no money; thanks. I took a whack at an explanation in the text. See whatcha think. --Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 18:04, 29 May 2009 (UTC) |
