Plymouth MapThanks for updating the infobox on the Plymouth, NH page... but your new map is slightly off. Plymouth is actually just a tad North from where you placed it. If you could change it that would be great. (I would but my image editing software doesn't seem to be advanced enough to do so without turning the whole map orange). Thanks --Prezboy1 14:56, 20 July 2006 (UTC) Yeah I think that the dot's placement seems more accurate but I want to say maybe just a tad higher. Look here to see where Plymouth is located (in yellow) if you want to double check. --Prezboy1 19:23, 20 July 2006 (UTC) Looks good to me. --Prezboy1 13:07, 21 July 2006 (UTC)
RE:Tamworth Pic - Thanks!Hi. I was only in the area for a short time, very nice place. I have a picture of the Chocorua welcome sign and some shots from Glen Ellis Falls, I cant remember if there close to Tamworth or not. Hossens27 15:18, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Is there any reason why you are using Template:Infobox City when there is an existing Template:Infobox Town NH? While the NH Infobox could use some updating - which is currently underway at Template:Infobox Town NH/test - the City one does not take into consideration the type of governments that NH towns have. Please use the NH infobox in keeping with Wikipedia:WikiProject New Hampshire. The NH Infobox has gone through Tfd once, and the result was to keep. I know its a lot of work updating the town infoboxes, but keeping with the project would be helpful. Also, it would be wonderful to have another NH editor in the project! --Assawyer 17:42, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
New England towns and Infobox CityHi, SatyrTN. Thanks for your note. Basically, Infobox City only provides for leader_title and leader_name, whereas Infobox Town MA, for example, has government_name, allowing for the kind of town meeting the town governs itself with. It also has board_of_selectmen, where the names of the selectmen can be listed. --AaronS 14:54, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

You have recently suggested the merge of some of the locations in Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends, and consequently The Railway Series. Can I point you in the direction of Wikipedia: WikiProject Thomas for their extensive work on the issue where you can discuss the matters there before assuming that they all could be merged. Thanks Mdcollins1984 10:55, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
re sunapee and geographyHi, i didnt want to move it. it is out of place where it is now . i did leave a message on the discussion board, why i was moving it. the GEOGRAPHY header would not left justify like all the headers. dont know why. when i find out i will return it to the proper sequence. joe 03:23, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
take a look at the position of the word Geography. It is centered on the line, and not left justified. This was the anonoly that i was trying to avoid. There must be a bug in the program. So I may fool around with it a few more times to see if i can get it left justified. Thanx for your help. joe 12:29, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
i will eventually figure it out. case closed for the time being. glad we are now in consistent mode. joe 14:52, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

Official Seal SortingYep, by hand. Does not take that long, one cut and a lot of pasting. The hardest part is getting the edit comment correct. Vegaswikian 18:19, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
Town elevationsHi there, No problem on the minor word changes for Claremont and Clarksville. Actually, I think those happened when the Smackbot ran through there a few months ago. I've been enjoying seeing the updates you've been making to all of the towns, and just ran across those two fixes because I wanted to reread the town high point sentences that I'd put in earlier. (Do I have a life?) That's a good idea about the town elevations; I'll try to take a look at them when I get a chance. (I'm sure seeing your steady updates every day will remind me...) See you, --Ken Gallager 14:17, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
CategoriesThe categorization system is having growing pains. There seem to be several different view about what our category system should be; a way to browse, an index of articles, a classification system, and/or a database search tool. Each of these views leads editors to different conclusions about how categories should be populated, and many conflicts result. To deal with these problems, Rick Block and I have been working on a proposal to add the ability to create category intersections. We think our proposal will address these problems and add some very useful new features. We are asking editors and developers concerned with categorizaton problems to take a look. We'd appreciate your feedback. Thanks. -- Samuel Wantman 06:05, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
Wiki's LGBT communityHeh, I remember reading a discussion about bringing in a welcome template of some kind for LGBT related stuff. Nice to see you got that up and running. -- Steel 11:28, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the invitation. My interest in LGBT issues is largely civil rights oriented, inasmuch as I'm a card-carrying member of the ACLU. That said, I've had LGBT friends off and on since high school. On social issues I'm a flaming libertarian! Kencf 21:11, 2 September 2006 (UTC) Thansk as well for the invite. I'm interested in LGBT studies as a historian and as an ally, and I'd love to add what I can! Elefuntboy 23:17, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
Why did you put the "User:SatyrTN/Template/LGBT Studies Invite" template on my page? The nearest I have to an indication is the "User:MiraLuka/Userboxes/User notnarrow" Box but AFAIK that says I'm Straight and not Narrow (Homophobic) I'm flattered by the invite but could your review you criterea? Jaster 07:34, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
ThanksThanks for the invite to the LGBT studies community. :) Unfortunately, I don't really specialize in LGBT studies or topics (I'm also straight, so I can't really help there, either), so I probably can't contribute a whole lot. Maybe I'll join if I start looking into it later. --Coredesat talk. o_O 02:09, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
NH leader listsSorry about that. It briefly crossed my mind that you might have done it the other way on purpose as well (not?). I'm going through a list of articles I made that reference the infobox and have an HTML break in them anywhere. Seems like most of the NH articles show up. I'm not sure if Ligulem has finished yet (his latest progress report says 400 left). The list of articles with breaks has something like 500 articles in it (not all have breaks in the infobox). Seems like it will take a good long time to work through the whole list. -- Rick Block (talk)
FlipsideThanks for the comment and the info box on the article. Yes I attended this year's event and took the photo in the article. Drop me an email, I have something to share offline. SteveHopson 00:43, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
Please stop adding the {{Project New Hampshire}} tag to the abovementioned talk page. As the creator and author of the associated article, I can say that it is not now, nor has ever been a part of, nor has recieved significant contributions from a member of, Project New Hampshire. While your intentions are good, I have deleted your efforts four times over and will continue to do so. Save yourself and myself some time by letting the Gazette article be. Thanks. --Jeffrey O. Gustafson - Shazaam! - <*> 01:50, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
CapitalisationHi, I've noticed in a few articles you have edited you have upper cased the section heading titles, this is contrary to the style guide, see Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_(capital_letters)#Section_headings. thanks Martin 21:16, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
Re: Keene, NHHello. I looked at the latest "addition" to the Keene article per your request, and I'd agree that the text in question doesn't exactly enhance the article. (If I had to guess, I'd say it's probably a local kid ragging on another part of town. As far as I know, there aren't any actual "Ghettos" in Keene.) If you want to remove it, I'd say go for it. Winnipesaukee's sizeHi there. Got your note about checking up on Lake Winnipesaukee's size ranking in the US. My most readily-available lake and stream information is for New Hampshire only, but I can probably ferret out some other resources. I noticed when that statement got removed and believe the person is probably right, but it would be really interesting to get an actual rank. Later...--Ken Gallager 15:52, 22 October 2006 (UTC)
Geographic Center of New HampshireHi - What source do you have for the geographic center of New Hampshire being in Thornton? I've been telling people that it's in Ashland, based, I believe, on something the U.S. Geological Survey put out a long time ago. It would be interesting to see what the source used to come up with Thornton. See you... --Ken Gallager 20:40, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
Well, that was interesting! Just ran the centroid, using ArcInfo. Turns out that it's in New Hampton, just south of the Ashland line and just west of Center Harbor (see image). Shall we put this in the New Hampton article? --Ken Gallager 15:11, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
LGBT welcomeThanks for the box on my talk page about the LGBT community (a while ago). Although it's true that I'm gay, I don't tend to focus on gay articles or issues any more than any others. Thanks for the message anyway! ConDemTalk 08:14, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
FireflyHi SatyrTN, I created the page for Firefly Arts Collective. Since you're a burner who lives near the event I'm curious if you've ever attended? There is a user questioning if the article is worthy of being in Wikipedia. Since you're a more experienced Burner Wikipedian I thought you might be able to add to the discussion . . . please! Also, somewhat unrelated I did work on Sandwich, NH and the Sandwich Fair. ForestJay 18:23, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Colorado Center of PopulationYour original research regarding Colorado's center of population is fraught with inaccuracies. The coordinates on the referenced list are in a rural, mountainous area well over five miles outside of the Littleton city limits (yes, it is the City of Littleton, not the Town of Littleton). You assume that just because Google Maps indicates a mailing address of "Littleton, CO 80127" that it is in the city. ZIP code boundaries often to not match city boundaries; indeed, much of the suburban area south of Denver has "Littleton" ZIP codes even though most of this area is not in Littleton but in other cities such as Centennial and Lone Tree, and in unincorporated Highlands Ranch. Bottom line: Google Maps refers to places based on ZIP code methodology, and just because an address is in a ZIP code assigned with a particular city's name does not mean it is actually in that city (see explanation at ZIP code).

Things that make ya go HmmmmmmmmmmmI saw the change you made to the LGBT banner, and am ambivalent about it. I had to seek out the image itself and read the tag before it made sense to me. At first I wondered why somebody would put a feather over the flag, but the tag explained it was actually a quill. While I don't oppose the image change, I do find it esoteric; and I wonder if anybody will automatically understand it, or be similarly motivated to look at the source to find an explanation. While you didn't ask for my opinion, I'm giving it anyway. I'm meddlesome that way. :-) Jeffpw 11:50, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Edits to Gay MarketingHi SatyrNH - I'm new to this wiki world so I hope this is the right place to pose this question. Recently I added Target 10 to the list of gay agencies that specialize in gay marketing (the gay marketing wikipedia entry). I also created an entry for Target 10 in wikipedia so people could learn about this company and its specialty in GLBT marketing. When logging back on to explore/learn wilipedia more I saw that you deleted Target 10 and one other agency from the gay marketing article. Can you tell me why you wanted to make this edit? I understand wikipedia is not a promotional tool but there are very few agencies that specialize in this area and I think the greater public could benefit by learning who they are (not just my agency). If it's credentials, pls know that Targe 10 has been around for five years and I (the president) have been in gay marketing for 10. My GLBT activism goes back even further. Could you let me know your thoughts when you have a minute? Also, I see on some of your posts you list LGBT affinity groups on wikipedia. I tried to learn how to join/participate but could not figure it out. Would you mind directing me to the right place to do that? Thanks. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Target 10 (talk • contribs) 22:58, 11 December 2006 (UTC).
LGBT EditsThanks for the info on deletions and edits. Much appreciated. I also visited the LGBT Wiki Project and think I can be of assistance. I will wait until I understand wiki more before I sign on as a participant. Honestly, I do not understand a lot of wiki terminology yet but will make a point to learn. When I am more well-versed I can definitley help out as I know gay history quite well and could assist with edits/improvements. Thanks again. Target 10 00:52, 12 December 2006 (UTC) tascIt has to be four reverts in the last 24 hours before he gets blocked. He's done one so far. When he does another, if you see it before I do, place the template {{3RR}} on his talk page. When he does the third revert, he gets {{3RR4}}, and if he reverts a fourth time we report him at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/3RR. In order for this to work, our reverts have to come from both of us, so that our three reverts are spread out and don't pile up on one or the other of us. So I've done one revert so far, don't hesitate to do the next one if you see it. I'll be watching as well, and I'm going to ask the observing admin to let us handle it ourselves by the 3RR process instead of locking the template again. — coelacan talk — 16:41, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, never mind. tasc has been blocked for two weeks for insulting the admin. I'll see you at Template talk:LGBT in two weeks then. ;) — coelacan talk — 18:23, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
You posted on my talk page that I am in danger of violating the three-revert rule and may be blocked from editing in the future but how am I in danger of violating the three-revert rule and why may I be blocked when I have only reverted the Matthew Shepard article three times today? And the reason that I have reverted the article is because I think it is VERY disrespectful to Matthew's memory to refer to him as "Shepard". 81.158.88.164

Error with SatyrBot?I noticed that SatyrBot added the LGBT project template to Talk:Esera Tuaolo, however, the talk page already had this template on there. It now has two of the same template (I'm about to cleanup the talk page so I'll remove the redundant one) but you may want to look into your bot and correct this so it doesn't happen again. VegaDark 04:29, 18 December 2006 (UTC) High SchoolsHi there -- That's a much nicer looking list than the current one. I think you're right about de-emphasizing the counties (though it hadn't occurred to me before, since I use them as mapping units fairly regularly). My one question would be about the horizontal line every 5 schools: it looks good, but how do you think the list would look if you used a line to mark each new letter instead? Maybe it'll look worse that way, but I just expect some people (like me) will be scratching their heads for a moment about the significance of the lines in their current configuration. However, I'll go for looks over meaning if the table looks bad with unevenly-spaced lines. I'd say go ahead and change the White Mountain School article's title. I found that the school uses "The" occasionally, but not in the most important places (their logo, their contact info, etc.). Just my vote, anyway. Later, Ken Gallager 10:46, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
NPH editsHi! Sorry my tone was a bit snippy, that's been happening the past couple of days. Of course I'm not offended at all. Thanks for your work cleaning up the article! DanB†DanD 00:31, 22 December 2006 (UTC) Gay rights redirectsYou tagged many "19xx in gay rights" articles for speedy deletion as "redirects to inappropriate articles." How is the redirect to Timeline of LGBT history inappropriate? Also, please don't tag "inappropriate" redirects as speedy deletable, they're not. If they're redirecting to the wrong place, you just simply change the redirect yourself. Metros232 14:41, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
Years in gay rights nav boxesI appreciate what you've been doing with the nav boxes on these pages; but perhaps you could refine them a bit, as they make the page too wide to be seen all at once, like most other wikipages, on my screen (which is brand new, a 17 inch). Can you make the LGBT Rights box appear under the nav box, and thus reduce the width of the page? That kind of heavy-duty coding is beyond my ken. --Textorus 19:55, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Hate to bring this up, but are you aware that the nav box shows the same year on both the right and the left? E.g.: <<2005 2006 2005>> --Textorus 19:39, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
BTW, I have discovered that 1933, 1940, 1950, 1952, and 1957 all should have content in them, but are redirected to the Timeline of LGBT History. I've no idea how to undo that, do you? --Textorus 00:58, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
