User talk:ST1849Welcome to Wikipedia!Hello, ST1849. Welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your contributions. My name is Howicus, and I've been an editor here for some time. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:
If you're working on creating a new article, you should take a look at this page on your first article, and use the article wizard here to get started. Also, this page has instructions on how to cite sources, complete with videos. If all this Wikicode is a little overwhelming, this cheatsheet may help untangle it. If you're looking for a tutorial of sorts, The Wikipedia Adventure is a good option. And if you need more help, I'd recommend getting live help at the Wikipedia help chat channel: click here to join. Additionally, you could ask me on my talk page, try the Teahouse (a help page for new users) or click here to ask for help here on your talk page and a volunteer will visit you here shortly Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Again, welcome, and have fun editing! Howicus (Did I mess up?) 19:52, 30 March 2016 (UTC) Uda Bay/GulfHello, ST1849. You have new messages at Pichpich's talk page.

MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC) About Ulban Bay Right whaleHi, thanks for your dedicated edits. As of the title, I have a issue with your edits about the article. In the reference I cited, "North Pacific right whales (Eubalaena glacialis japonica), that had been regularly observed in the Shanter region before the be-ginning of whaling (Томилин 1962), during the last half-century have not been seen in this part of the sea or their observations were not confirmed (Brownell et al.,2001). " Therefore I hardly see any reasons that you may delete my adding even though you may consider that Shantar is out of the species' normal range. Best Regards Daniel0816 (talk) 08:25, 10 February 2017 (UTC) Sorry, I just checked my talk page. Thanks for all the info.Daniel0816 (talk) 08:34, 10 February 2017 (UTC) A barnstar for you!
Fabius shipwreckThanks for your information on the Fabius shipwreck. I can only add in things to the shipwreck list from the sources I have, so that's what I did. Your amplifying information is helpful, so I recommend you go ahead and make changes to the shipwreck list accordingly, following the general page format and citing your source. As for the "coast of California" meaning the "coast of Baja California" to the old-time whalers, that's a matter of historical interest, but for a list of shipwrecks read by a general audience of modern-day readers in 2017, it would be confusing if we relied on the general Wikipedia readership to know that; besides, the source I am using is referring specifically to the State of California, not Baja California. Hence, "coast of California" in the shipwreck lists means the coast of California as it is understood by the general readership today, and the coast of Baja California would need to specified when applicable. I have never studied RAC systematically, just when they crossed paths with someone or something I was working on. What is your reasoning for this revert that was trying to make the article readable and removing massive over-referencing? Being a non-expert is not a valid reason to revert an edit.
