Regarding non-admin closures

Hi Rydex64, I noticed that you closed Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gul Wareen as delete and accordingly tagged the page for G6. However, while the consensus was clear in this case, it is generally not advised that non-admins close discussions for which they cannot enact the result, since an admin would still need to come by to ensure the process is completed properly. (In other words, non-admin closures requiring admin action do not save any admin time and so have the potential to cause more problems than they solve.) I would suggest you stick to cases where the result is an unequivocal keep/merge/redirect/draftify as you gain more experience with the process. Hi @DragonflySixtyseven, Apologizes for the error! I mistakenly thought the content was non-constructive or possibly vandalism. It appeared to be categorizing the crime as an occupation, both in the content and the infobox. I don't have a personal view on the subject and I'm not attempting to safeguard the subject. I reverted it because the crime was already detailed under "Walter Breen Arrests and Convictions" and someone else previously reverted it too. Whether it's appropriate right there is a different issue, but it was clearly well-intentioned, and thus not vandalism. Note my own edit summary here.

It's an interesting question: for people who were notable for reasons aside from their horrible offenses (e.g. Russell Williams, whose military career may well have meant he met general notability requirements), in what way should the offenses be incorporated into the lede? My bad, @Hako9! I didn't realize the article had already been reviewed. I noticed that the article needs quite a updates and there’s a lot of info missing for it to be ready for the main space, which is why I moved it to the draft section.

Ok. Usually, reviewers just need to check whether the WP:AFCPURPOSE test is fulfilled, i.e whether or not the article will survive afd. I passed it in the above case, because obviously I thought it would survive. On a side note, you absolutely have the right to question an afc review. Doesn't matter if the person who passed an article has 1k edits or 100k edits. But instead of re-draftifying (which is basically edit warring with the reviewer) you should go through afd or bring the afc reviewer to an admin's attention (if that reviewer isn't doing their due diligence before passing). — hako9 (talk) 16:17, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The editor had the mainspace page title (as Jloukiss/sandbox). It wasn't a sandbox page, but the editor moved the article directly to mainspace without changing the title. Leaving a note, I missed out on adding that I have an external relationship outside Wikipedia with the creator of the page Rusha & Blizza. As mentioned in my last message, It was still a part of the NPR process and I know the I completely abide by Wikipedia Policies and COI and strictly do not look forward to paid editing in any way or through any relationship whatsoever. My edit history will show that my editing towards any page or my NPR process is completely transparent and in accordance with WP:GNG and NPR policies.

I believe that Przdnt may have been connected to our residential WiFi as I was showing through the process of Wikipedia Tools and how NPR Tool works and it's features along with teaching how the process of editing works while he was interested in editing for music artists, same as me. I had agreed to review Rusha & Blizza's page since the subject was already notable and met WP:GNG and WP:MUSICBIO. This was done along with the editor on my side while I showed how the tool worked. This process involves strictly no paid editing or COI with the subject I reviewed. I do not review paid articles unless disclosed on user's talk page.

+ PhilKnight, Thanks for checking the review. I'm unsure what you're referring to does not outweigh the technical evidence. As mentioned, I have an external relationship with Przdnt but the account was never created on my device nor have I created any other accounts for editing purposes myself. I'm aware of WP:SOCK and have not made any other Wikipedia accounts to my knowledge.

You have mentioned to me that checkuser date indicates the same device was used, which I, unfortunately, cannot process how yet. I'm unaware of how CheckUser tool or system works, but I think that either this might be an error or somewhat surpisingly created on same specification device as mine (Tagging Blablubbs who did the Checkuser). If not, this must have been created accidentally in worst case sceniero (which I'm sure not done by myself - could be anyone I know on my device without my knowledge. but again, I oppose this). I have also just checked the User contributions and account creation date of the suspected account here and it shows there aren't any edits either.

I apologize for this issue cased. The block was also initiated mainly for UPE which I believe, I already stated every detail back and fourth and concluded that I'm strongly not involved in any UPE or COI, except that I had an external relationship with Przdnt to review one of their page and guiding them on how tools works and NPR process works, but not involved in any COI or paid editing. Altough, I was involved in minor editing on the page, such as adding category, tagging and a minor tag fix check here.

Hi Bradv, Apologizes for the ping! Can you state how am I involved in the abuse of multiple accounts when I don't own them or it's not at all my accounts? Moreover, I have never done any paid editing or had any COI for any articles I did. I appreciate it if any admins could give an insight on this claim, please , when I wasn't a sock or UPE. You have mentioned here that the image, File:ThirumaLi.jpg, was taken by your friend. The image is obviously from a separate photoshoot and not from any concert, which again proves you have an external relationship with ThirumaLi. Adding to that, you have also created the article for ThirumaLi. When I asked you earlier about COI on Varun Sunil, you said you never edited in areas where you had COI. I have never mentioned that I do not know Przdnt in any of my earlier block request. I have additionally added about my external relationship outside Wikipedia with him. I clearly stated "None of the accounts are owned by me.".

Secondly, File:ThirumaLi.jpg was indeed captured by my friend and I have already mentioned that in here. That does not prove any claim that I have relationship with ThirumaLi. I have ONLY advised my friend NorwesterTakesPics to upload the picture to Wikipedia page since he has the rights to the picture from the photoshoot he did and added it to the page. As mentioned last time, I do concert photography sometimes and I'm connected with other photographers as well, asking them to upload pictures to the pages I do if that's possible. I have mentioned same case about Varun Sunil here [2] (but, that was taken by me!). I'm NOT involved in COI so far. And If I did, I would take procedures on disclosing it.
