I disagree with the deletion of 'both' but it's not a biggie; this would be a stylistic difference. He was, after all, BOTH her elder brother AND a member of the Tidewater aristocracy, but with several commas in the same sentence I can see how the phrasing could be confusing. I see you blocked 180.191.71.36 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log) indefinitely for what appears to be garden-variety abuse. Have you got some information that this IP is being used as a proxy? Otherwise, because IP addresses can be recycled and used by multiple people, IP addresses typically aren't indefinitely blocked. —C.Fred (talk) 14:55, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
Hi, With reference to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Asadulla pasha, I found that this page has been deleted, despite much improvement and additional citations to make notability verifiable per Wiki guidelines. It leaves a Wikipedian like me, who created many new pages and edited a lot, in complete bewilderment and astonishment. You would have taken few more minutes to re-check the last modified version, which was improved during deletion phase, before deleting the page based on voting. Some discussion with him on his talk page about how and whether to achieve his apparent aim (higher precision in whale measurements) has so far been distinguished by plentiful further insults. This suggests that he doesn't get that you can't talk on WP like on 4Chan, and that things are quite likely to go south again as soon as he comes off his block. An extension might be warranted; but I don't know if that would be usual procedure. You may want to have a look and make the call. Cheers. -- Elmidae (talk) 05:22, 25 August 2015 (UTC)

I would point out that IP 109.29.22.222, who edits essentially the same articles in a near-identical manner, has been busy editing ever since. The striking overlap of these "two" users was already noted on both their talk pages a year ago (also at wiki's Fish project here). Interestingly this long-time IP actually "disappeared" in April when blocked for disruptive editing by Stemonitis. Directly after there was a surge in edits by user:Planonasus. You then blocked user:Planonasus recently and shortly after the IP reappeared. At this point I have no overall opinion of the block of Planonasus (the user is peculiar to say the least, mixing clearly useful edits with disruptive, and unresponsive on his/her talk page), but this whole matter does look rather like a second case of block evasion – first when the IP was blocked by Stemonitis in April, then when user:Planonasus was blocked by you in September. I have had a lot of experience with the article and with working with the Registry both on and off Wikipedia. The goal with the article (and the reason it is a featured article) is partially because of a lack of red links. Because there many small or experimental films on the Registry list, if we can find a way to link to them as opposed to red link an article for a film that doesn't exist, the consensus seems to be to do that. I can point to a dozen examples on the actual article itself if that would be helpful for you. I appreciate your attention, but this is something that comes with a lot of precedence on this particular article. Have a nice day!Fireflyfanboy (talk) 19:17, 16 December 2015 (UTC) Nevermind, I see now that you created an article for it! This directly does not align with Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources. Instead of just reverting my edits (which keep non-cited information based articles that only bother citing fan magazines, album liner notes, and other sources that should never be a primary source for an album,) how about you find some reliable secondary and tertiary sources so these articles actually have a leg to stand on? I'd nominate them some for deletion, but there's so many I don't know where to start. Mrmoustache14 (talk) 22:08, 23 June 2016 (UTC)
Chime in on this RfC?Hi. Would you be willing to weigh in on this RfC regarding genres at Axis: Bold as Love? There's been little input, and the RfC's been relisted a few times to encourage more discussion. Dan56 (talk) 18:25, 24 June 2016 (UTC) Disambiguation link notification for June 29Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (The Who song), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gothic. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. I notice that you've undertaken the task of creating categories for various authors of insect names. My sole purpose here, other than welcoming your effort, is to offer a light-hearted note regarding what you're in for: there are over a million insect names, and some authors (e.g., Fabricius) can count in excess of 10,000 names to their credit. If you are determined to see this task through to its end, which would be admirable, I hope you plan to live to 500 or so. I might also note, by way of caution, that since I routinely edit authorships and synonymies on insect articles, I can tell you that there is a small but significant proportion where either the author or year are cited incorrectly, and using this information as the basis for categories runs the risk of compounding such errors. Forewarned is forearmed. Good luck! Dyanega (talk) 00:32, 15 July 2016 (UTC)
