Military history WikiProject coordinator electionThe Military history WikiProject coordinator election has started. We will be selecting coordinators from a pool of eighteen to serve for the next six months. Please vote here by 23:59 (UTC) on Saturday, 28 March! Thank you. Mistake on Lula da SilvaI am afraid you are threatening the wrong guy. IF you check carefully the changes I made you'll see I only added a "=" sign just to fix the title.--tequendamia (talk) 04:46, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

Did you even check the page before reverting? Somebody had accidentally copied and pasted two sets of "See Also," "References," "External Links" and a set of categories. I was just removing them or has Wiki now just added a policy that all articles should have two sets of this? Come on. Just looking at the page clears up that problem. Thanks you. -- Dee4leeds talk contribs all 12:27, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
Thanks......for reverting the brief but graphic vandalism to my talk page. The sentiment expressed was vulgar, but when they use multiple exclamation points it's depressing...heh. Speedy delete criterion G4Just to let you know criterion G4 only applies to pages deleted following a deletion discussion (such as an Articles for Deletion discussion) not to pages deleted via proposed deletion or under the speedy delete criteria as appears to be the case with Caroline melville. HelloI am starting to get nervous, is anyone intimitaded by my mass production of articles? I am only on the letter B, and it goes to Z, please tell me in a hurry! Bugboy52.4 (talk) 01:51, 16 April 2009 (UTC) WaldenThe Postal Service's ZIP code finder really isn't possible to use properly as a reference, for there's no way to cite it — results of a search don't come up with a new URL. If we can't cite something, we really shouldn't use it as a reference. Moreover, what you wrote didn't say anything about West Danville: your reference only mentioned Hardwick and Danville. There's a free website, http://www.zipinfo.com/search/zipcode.htm, that is very useful for ZIP code sourcing. You can put in the ZIP code and find its community name, or put in a community name and find the ZIP code that serves it — including the name of the community, quite useful for those communities (like Walden) that don't have their own ZIP codes. I've used it in the Walden intro: check it out! Nyttend (talk) 18:24, 16 April 2009 (UTC) Speedy deletion of UserBrudder Andrusha/SandboxThank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding G1Re this, note that CSD G1 is only for patent nonsense, that is, content which doesn't have any meaning whatsoever. If a page has any meaningful content, it's not eligible for deletion under this criterion, although it may still be under others. --bainer (talk) 09:01, 19 April 2009 (UTC) HeyaJust wondering wether you've been checking your program page? Anden21 (talk) 13:13, 27 May 2009 (UTC) Accidentally attributing vandalism to the wrong editor? An easy mistake to make: I have done the same myself. Apologies made and accepted, all is well. However, here is another point: if the vandalism had been done by Anden21, it would have been better to have used a level 1 vandalism tag in the first instance. A new editor who has made a silly edit may be more serious about it if they are gently prompted, whereas suddenly being accused of vandalism and threatened with a block might be more likely to antagonise them. Generally speaking it is best to reserve the higher level threats for vandals who have already been given mild warnings, except in the case of really major vandalism.
