New England Patriots templateWhy you erase all time the change # of 69 Kyle Hix and 26 Bret Lockett? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.92.224.218 (talk) 23:35, 25 December 2011 (UTC) You may be interested......in this. Eagles 24/7 (C) 21:53, 12 February 2012 (UTC) YankeesSince I regularly keep an eye on the Yankees template, I took a look at the ESPN roster. There's a few problems with them: They still list it as the 2011 Yankees, they still have Scott Proctor on the roster, they list Reegie Corona as being on the 60 day DL. Probably best that we stick with MLB.com's version for now, simply because in this instance, ESPN isn't too reliable. My two cents. Hope it helps! Luke PattersonFor starters he was never 74, I have no idea where that came from and there is no source available for him having 74 and my request to Pats1 for a source went ignored. Second, last time there was this issue I understood the objection because 68 was taken, now it's not. I remember spending at least 30 minutes one day trying to locate something giving him 74 and couldn't, EVERYTHING came up with 68, he wasn't even 74 in college, so if nobody wants to accept 68 even though that is his number it should be "--" on the template--Rockchalk717 (talk) 19:45, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

Denard RobinsonDenard has been playing running back in practice and preseason 95% of the time. He hasn't been lining up out wide because he needs to work on his hands and ball security. I think he should be listed under running back, followed by "RB/WR" and eventually "KR". ~ Richmond96 T • C 04:06, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

My concerns about this, you could just be making a claim that this conversation happened even though it didn't actually happen (not saying you are). You claim there was consensus, even though its just 3 editors and more people are getting involved with Roster templates now so that doesn't qualify as a consensus, then you say you can't show me the consensus so one can only assume it never actually happened and I think most other editors (that are actually familiar with Wikipedia policies anyway) would agree there is so much that is not right about this. If a player's height, weight, position, birthday, etc. must match everything that is listed then it makes ZERO sense to not match experience, especially considering there are NFL rules defining it. Now I will say, I am ok with opening up the discussion on the project page since there is unfortunately no evidence for you to provide of this discussion, so I might as well assume (as well as other editors) it didn't even happen.--Rockchalk717 17:31, 3 June 2014 (UTC)
Dez Bryant's UFA statusCan you clarify Bryant's UFA roster status? All the sources (here too) I've seen say the Cowboys applied the franchise tag of $12.82 million to keep him from becoming a UFA. Maybe he truly isn't on the "active roster" but he shouldn't be listed as a UFA that can freely talk and sign with another team, correct? ~ Dissident93 (talk) 04:13, 25 March 2015 (UTC) Tommie CampbellA while ago, I added Tommie Campbell to the Jags' roster because he was still on the team's website despite my (our) belief that he was a UFA. That edit was reverted by you so I left it alone. Well, today the team released their preseason depth chart and Campbell was listed. He is also still listed on the team roster and there is an article on the team website dated August 6, 2015 that states "Cornerback Tommie Campbell had an interception off Henne late in practice.". Just wanted to let you know my reasoning behind adding him back to the roster. I don't always trust the team roster pages, I mean they still have Justin Durant listed and he's a confirmed free agent, so I always look for contract and player info. I appreciate the concern about this, I keep track of all free agency signings, releases and every other transaction, so I'm glad someone else does to.
