Don't bludgeon the process

Rejoy, you are bludgeoning the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2023 Holy Trinity Church, Benaulim incident by replying to pretty much every comment by others, at length and in an aggressive way. This is always inappropriate on discussion pages, please see WP:BLUDGEON (follow the link and read it!), but especially inappropriate coming from the author of the article being discussed. He was a regular copy editor who took part in many of our Drives and Blitzes. An obituary was published in the mid-July issue of The Signpost. Tributes can be left on David's talk page. Election news: In our mid-year Election of Coordinators, Dhtwiki was chosen as lead coordinator, Miniapolis and Zippybonzo continue as assistant coordinators, and Baffle gab1978 stepped down from the role. If you'd like to help out, you may nominate yourself or any suitable editor—with their permission—for the Election of Coordinators for the first half of 2024. All editors in good standing (not under current sanctions) are eligible, and self-nominations are welcome. Coordinators normally serve a six-month term that ends at 23:59 on 30 June. Drive: Of the 69 editors who signed up for the September Backlog Elimination Drive, 40 copy-edited at least one article. Between them, they copy-edited 661,214 words in 290 articles. January 2024

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Babush Monserrate. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. @Rosguill I'm aware of page moves and this isn't my first time doing it. There was no intention of making it look like a "cut and paste move" since the Babush Monserrate page already was created I think back in 2016. It was Atanasio Monserrate and as per WP:COMMONNAME I made this move. I couldn't had manually move this page into "Babush Monserrate" since the page already existed as a redirect. If I'm wrong or missed something, do let me know. Rejoy^2003(talk) 15:57, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
