Why hide Keir Mather's web address? My understanding is that {{URL}} is used in infoboxes, displaying the address. Is there a reason for that edit ? PamD 04:36, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

@PamD: I've done a bit more reading and it appears that {{official URL}} is the template to use in infoboxes (using data from Wikidata). It seems I was under the wrong impression that {{oweb}} was for infobox use. — RAVENPVFF · talk · 11:26, 4 April 2024 (UTC)

Where have you been reading? If you look at the template documentation at {{Infobox person}}, {{Infobox company}} and {{Infobox church}} (and presumably many more), they all refer to using {{URL}} in the "website=" field. Yes, I can see that the documentation at {{official URL}} says it is for use in infoboxes. We seem to have a contradiction! PamD 09:36, 7 April 2024 (UTC)

Your recent revert, by re-inserting the comma before the main verb in the first sentence, is part of a wider discussion at Talk:William, Prince of Wales. The view that the peerage title is parenthetical is evidently not a universal one. ZeroAlpha87 (talk) 18:03, 25 April 2024 (UTC)

@ZeroAlpha87: Thanks for letting me know; I'll take part in that discussion. With regard to the comma you removed at Carmen Smith, Baroness Smith of Llanfaes, I'd argue that any existing commas should probably be left as is in the absence of a definitive guideline. — RAVENPVFF · talk · 18:33, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
