Hey; firstly, the text I put in upper case was aimed to draw people's attention to it - it stands out as opposed to lower case stuff, and has a greater chance of being noticed. Secondly, it is not my duty to find a source for these time sigs. If you look through the history of the page, you'll see most of the edits are reverting or adding unsourced material. If someone wishes to add a time sig, it is their duty to provide the source - the Wikipedia editors cannot be expected to search for sources for other people's additions. Atlas or almanac facts

Hi, I added some info to the article. The reference to the indonesian name seems clear. The claim that the reef is considered part of Roti Ndao district I could not verify as an official Indon.govt. claim (but only what some Indonesian wrote in Wikimapia), that's why I wrote "by Indonesians". But the district of which Roti Island is the main island is the closest Indonesian district, and it seems clear that Ashmore Reef would be part of that district if there were a valid Indonesian claim.--Ratzer (talk) 10:54, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Maps

Hi Ratzer, I've just uploaded on commons an english version of the mangaia and Rarotonga topographic map. I've not made the modifications on Rarotonga tapere map yet. I still need to check the location of the taperes of Matavera and Titikaveka which i'm not sure about. Concerning Te Puna tapere, I am still uncertain. In this article, it states that Turea Nui is a kainga (piece of land) on Te Puna tapere (http://www.ciherald.co.ck/articles/h398h.htm). I checked the notes I took at the land court and according to it, Tuarea Nui is located on the tapere named Akapuao ??? This uncetainty is I suppose due to the actual land conflict on this tapere. All i know is that it is probalby not far from what is called Titikaveka village, that means quite close to the Titikaveka CICC church. Kia manuia Nevers (talk) 11:01, 4 September 2008 (UTC)

Fishing banks

Hi Ratzer. You seem clued up on marine topography, and I see you are the main author of Bank (topography). I see you state the Grand Banks are not technically banks. Can you source and expand on that, and is it possible to provide a more precise definition of what a bank is and isn't? I wondered if you would mind giving me some pointers on "banks" and "fishing banks". I suppose some banks are good fishing banks and some aren't. I would like an article that deals with fishing banks for the Fisheries and Fishing Project. Are you okay if I try and expand your article to include and characterise "fishing banks", or do you think it would be better to have a separate article? I suppose geologists may have one take, physical oceanographers another (to do with tidal flows and upwellings), marine biologists yet another (to do with high photic and biological levels), and fisheries yet another (to do with whether commercial fish are sufficiently abundant). --Geronimo20 (talk) 03:05, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

I've translated all that I had on paper, as well as the picture captions. The main problem with launching the article now is the lack of citations. It frustrates me that I have no time and plenty of printed sources. Maybe someone at WikiProject Indigenous Peoples of North America has some... try canvassing, as I did. A 2nd (and perhaps not as good) alternative is to wait until December, when I will be out of school and have plenty of time to adequately reference the article. Vielleicht dann müssen sie keine Doppelarbeit machen. Consider the options and make a decision, but please don't bother to respond for now. I say this all in the most grateful way possible. Summit Camp

It had the website links for the Greenland location camp but the content of the deleted version was completely different then the current version. In fact, this is the website of the camp mentionned in the 3rd deleted version. That camp is in Pennsylvania. Considering that the area of the Summit Camp (on the current version) is very cold each year I really doubt it is a good place to hold children camps there. Oman regions

Actually a region includes many governorates, A governorate stands for a city or a village while Regions stands for inner states. I think something wrong in the article or maybes its different in Oman. A M M A R 11:43, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Inuit culture

Hello, Ratzer:

My semester is finally over, so in the next few days I will begin to work intensively on the Inuit culture article. As pointed out by Death Bredon on the project's talk page, it needs extensive re-writing and verification- there are also some issues with factual accuracy.
