User talk:Radagast/Archive 4April - National Contribution MonthGood day Radagast,
During the month of April, Wikimedia Canada is preparing the National Contribution Month, and we are looking for experienced contributors to organize a contribution day (or half-day) in their region. Contribution days are activities where Wikipedia's contributors, students, or anybody interested in contributing to Wikipedia meets together to collectively improve a predetermined theme. This meetings generally take place in library where references are easy of access, but can be organized in any communal room. Beside improving articles, a goal of this participatory workshops is to initiate neophyte in the cooperative contribution of Wikipedia. If you are interested in organizing or participating in a contribution day in your region, communicate witht he national team on the project's talk page. The exact agenda of each local event is left to the discretion of the organizer. Help is available for the organization from contributors who already organized these type of days, so don't be worried. If you have any questions or want more information, don't hesitate to contact us.Amqui (talk) 00:45, 11 February 2013 (UTC) File:Iconshots.jpg missing description detailsDear uploader: The media file you uploaded as:

Requested move for subway lines in TorontoHello there. I noticed that you opposed a move request for the following pages:
In light of discussion after your comments were submitted, I would like to request that you re-visit the move discussion and re-evaluate your position based on recent discussion. I am not trying to push you to change your answer, I only wish to have the discussion reflect all the facts, and try and facilitate some consensus. In good faith. --Natural RX 16:09, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
Ion route diagram![]() Message added 16:10, 16 August 2014 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template. Eglinton Crosstown stationsNew articles for these stations have now been created. I think we should we just follow the lead on this and help with those articles - which would eventually need to be created. I will update with info from your list, and mark it when I have done that. I have added a couple of location photos and could probably find more. Secondarywaltz (talk) 03:43, 31 August 2014 (UTC) Map opinionHello there. I have spruced up the TTC subway map mildly, only adding accessible stations and washrooms to it. Do you think I should replace the map in place with this or leave it as is? Kitchener stationOn the Template:Ion LRT route diagram you have linked from "Central Station" to Kitchener railway station without any explanation for this name. Do you have some information and references you can add to the railway station article? Secondarywaltz (talk) 19:02, 29 June 2015 (UTC)

Hi, AWBI have enabled your AWB access. Biblioworm 19:20, 5 December 2015 (UTC) Ion stationsWill you be producing articles for Ion in the same naming format of "Name LRT station" as used for the Eglinton Crosstown? Perhaps they not going to be substantial enough structures with sufficient references to deserve separate articles, and are simply like streetcar stops. I ask this because I noticed the picture you recently added of a station under construction. Let me know if you create those. Secondarywaltz (talk) 20:22, 12 December 2015 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Martha Jones.jpg![]() Thanks for uploading File:Martha Jones.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. Any chance you'd want to take some photos of the corduroy road? I think it would be cool to have some available, but I guess it won't be visible for long. Thanks - Themightyquill (talk) 08:24, 21 April 2016 (UTC)

Ion referencesHave you looked for references? The one you have been adding to each station article is what I found. Here http://www.kitchener.ca/en/livinginkitchener/Planning-Around-Rapid-Transit.asp are more sources of information for some of the stations. Click on the links for each station. There is much more for you to find, if you only look. I would like to invite you to check out the Environmental impact project page on Meta, where I am trying to create some momentum to reduce the environmental impact of the Wikimedia movement. My first goal is to have all the Wikimedia servers run on renewable energy. Maybe you could show your support for this project as well by adding your signature here? Did later corrections do this knowledge a favour? I am just curious if the interpretation of the term "long 'e'" differs across readers. Also, I wonder if a credible source could be found to the history of naming the street. Cheers and thanks for adding the knowledge. --ilgiz (talk) 01:19, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
Unblock![]() Radagast (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log)) Request reason: Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. This is the IP at my workplace, the activity leading to the block must be from other users here. Radagast (talk) 21:57, 13 March 2017 (UTC) Decline reason: To allow us to assess this request you will need to tell us the IP address in question. If you don't want to do it publicly, you can make use of WP:UTRS. However, if this is some corporate network, it may indeed operate as a VPN or some other anonymizing proxy. Huon (talk) 22:28, 13 March 2017 (UTC) If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked. ![]() Radagast (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log)) Request reason: Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. We noticed though that when you edited Frontier Series, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Northern lights. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content.
