Interview invitation from a Wikipedia researcher in the University of MinnesotaI am Weiwen Leung, a student at the University of Minnesota. I am currently conducting a study on how people on the LGBT+ Wikipedians group use and contribute to Wikipedia. Would you be willing to answer a short 5 minute survey? If so, please email me at leung085@umn.edu. It would be helpful if you could include your Wikipedia username when emailing. Thank you, Weiwen Weiwensg (talk) 19:19, 30 November 2016 (UTC) Re: Yuri on IceHello! Thank for your message! It's nice to know my efforts, if somewhat clumsy (but I try to fix them too), on the Yuri On Ice page is being recognized by officially users, even though I'm anon user. I'm sure you know by now, but in case you don't, the Yuri on Ice page has been LOCKED....AGAIN....and for the rest of the month, too. I'm sure users with accounts, like you, will keep eye on it, but it really makes me sad and mad to see all users that tries to improve the page are being lock out because of a few ridiculous vandals! The series is almost done and I really want to continue providing important info, but if this keep up even, it might be lock forever!! T-T I don't want an official Wikipedia account, but I still want to help because I really love the series and want a place I can go get info. Usually, it just 2 or 3 of the same users that keeps causing trouble, but admins keeping punishing every user by locking down the page instead banning the source of problems individually from the get-go. There are good anons out there, like myself, that wants to help yet it got locked again so soon!! I don't suppose you know there a better way make vandals (like bluffing to ban them if the act up again after the first warning) back off or to shorten the lock period? Anyway, sorry I made you listen to my rant, but I hope official users like you understand there more good anons users like me than bad ones and that one doesn't have to resorts to a lockdown because a few users are acting up. Don't punish everyone because of a few. 68.11.91.158 (talk) 18:16, 4 December 2016 (UTC)

Kudos?I'm bummed that you caught my edit on the page for some crappy white supremacist group. However, I must give you credit for doing your job well. Kudos to you for that part and no hard feelings as I assume you have no interest in the aforementioned group. You also have a very interesting personal life as far as likes and education goes so I wish you the best as you pursue your graduate degree. Have a great day! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.161.200.90 (talk) 15:42, 20 December 2016 (UTC) Merry Christmas!![]() Redolta is wishing you a Merry Christmas!
