I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place WP:Hornbook -- a new WP:Law task force for the J.D. curriculumHi Phileasson, I'm asking Wikipedians who are interested in United States legal articles to take a look at WP:Hornbook, the new "JD curriculum task force". Our mission is to assimilate into Wikipedia all the insights of an American law school education, by reducing hornbooks to footnotes.
What you can do now:

Disambiguation link notificationHi. In Athletics at the 1972 Summer Olympics – Men's hammer throw, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Walter Schmidt (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject. It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:42, 17 December 2011 (UTC) Speedy deletion declined: MuzhukkadhanHello Phileasson. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Muzhukkadhan, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not about a real person AFAICT so ineligible for A7. WikiProject Wikify and the future of wikificationHi! There is an ongoing proposal at the project talkpage concerning the future of wikification, including possible deprecation of the {{wikify}} template which is being discussed at Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2012 August 10. Your input would be greatly appreciated! You are receiving this message because you are listed as an active member of the wikify project. To update your status, go here. Delivered by EdwardsBot (talk) 15:48, 12 August 2012 (UTC) on behalf of Project Wikify Getting Wikimedians to the Olympic GamesHi. I am part of an effort to get Wikimedians access to the 2016 Summer Olympics as accredited reporters and photographers. Part of this effort includes covering the 2012 Summer Paralympics. Two Wikimedians have credentials to attend these games as reporters through Wikimedia Australia. As English Wikipedia does not allow original reporting, this is largely through Wikinews with a project page found at Wikinews:Paralympic Games. If you are interested in helping to get Wikimedians to the next Summer Olympics,I'd encourage you to assist with Wikinews efforts, and also to work on all language 2012 Summer Paralympic Wikipedia articles before, during and after the Games to demonstrate a track record of success. Thank you. --LauraHale (talk) 04:24, 17 August 2012 (UTC) AutopatrolledHi! I'm working on NPP this morning and you are creating many articles that don't need attention from patrollers. Would you mind dropping by WP: PERM/AP to request the Autopatrolled flag to make it easier on New Page Patrollers? Thanks, Electric Catfish 13:57, 24 August 2012 (UTC).
Page Curation newsletterHey Phileasson. I'm dropping you a note because you used to (or still do!) patrol new pages. This is just to let you know that we've deployed and developed Page Curation, which augments and supersedes Special:NewPages - there are a lot of interesting new features :). There's some help documentation here if you want to familiarise yourself with the system and start using it. If you find any bugs or have requests for new features, let us know here. Thanks! Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 12:48, 24 September 2012 (UTC) Charles vs KarlI've redirected Charles to Karl. If it's a plausible search term (and this version is mentioned in the lead), then just redirect rather than CSD. Redirects are cheap, and very useful if relevant. Everything can be found back in the two short articles mentioned below on the page. Kind regards, Berkh (talk) 13:56, 25 October 2012 (UTC)

We'll be trying to reduce the backlog size by over 500 articles and we need your help! Hard-working participants in the drive will receive awards for their contributions. If you have a spare moment, please join and wikify an article or tell your friends. Thanks! Just a note. A nudge to say, hey! Sup? I declined your hoax CSD applied to the above noted article. This article is a clear attack on a living person. These types of articles raise a red flag when they are allowed to slip by new page patrollers. It is important that we accurately identify attack pages, while also remembering to blank the content at all times. If you have questions, please feel free to contact me anytime. EdwardsBot (talk) 22:20, 30 November 2013 (UTC) Warning templates - escalation ofHi, you templated Sawantvaibhav23 three times in four minutes. Whilst the first one was justified, the other two were not, because the user had not made any edits after the first warning (see WP:UW#Introduction "The user must be given a chance to see, and react to, each warning given."). --Redrose64 (talk) 16:25, 23 January 2014 (UTC)
Ramona PagelYou left a tag on the top of this article, but the tag provide no description of what is wrong. Worse yet, you went to the Talk page, but still didn't say anything. Another editor just used a phrase that describes this activity, which I will start employing. This is tag spam. All a tag is, is you, a single individual, complaining about the article. If there is a problem, rather than spamming and defacing the article with a tag, fix it. If you don't want to or can't fix it, then at least have the courtesy to explain what your complaint is. Otherwise, your unfocused complaining, your defacing the article, is just vandalism. Trackinfo (talk) 22:23, 13 February 2014 (UTC)

Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:14, 6 October 2016 (UTC) New deal for page patrollersHi Phileasson, In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created. Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work. Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying.
